I think Milton Wright is draftable. I think a good SR. Could have seen him as a mid rounder. 4th or 5th. I could see a team burning a 7th for himAnyone worth note? I don't think their are any Chris Carters out there
80's and 90's seemed there were tons of 1st round supplemental draft guysCleveland & Kosar can’t manipulate it anymore either.
One has been mentioned in this thread ... Purdue's Milton Wright. He's 6-3 and had 57 catches for 732 yards and 7 TDs in 2021. Had to sit out 2022 because he was academically ineligible. In contract, our late-round WR (Jalen Brooks) had 33-504-1 his final season at South Carolina. His best year was while he was at Wingate (35-751-6).This draft and already no names being shown...I'll pass and check up coming cut lists.
Teams bid picks, so if Dallas bidded a sixth-round pick and the next best bid by another team was a seventh-round pick, the Cowboys would get the player. So if you like a player, there's no reason for you not to bid what you think he's worth. Generally, you can get a player for less in the supplemental than in the regular draft because teams don't want to give up a pick in the next regular draft and are still sorting through what they picked up in the regular draft and UDFA.First of all I didn't know it was back second of all doesn't this work a lot like the waiver wire I mean the regular draft you think there's going to be any players any good that's going to slip down to the bottom 10 where the Cowboys are picking I mean isn't this a moot story I mean I doubt there's going to be that many people available to where ones going to slip by good enough that we would want? Or maybe I don't understand the supplemental draft but I'm pretty sure that's how it works
Oh I guess I didn't know it's been a long time since we discussed the supplemental draft, so I had no idea thanks for clearing it upTeams bid picks, so if Dallas bidded a sixth-round pick and the next best bid by another team was a seventh-round pick, the Cowboys would get the player. Doesn't record, standings, strength of schedule and all the other criteria that goes into setting up the regular draft go into potential draft order? For example if two or more teams bid say a 6th round pick?Teams bid picks, so if Dallas bidded a sixth-round pick and the next best bid by another team was a seventh-round pick, the Cowboys would get the player. Yes. I believe it is the same draft order as the regular draft, so if someone with an earlier draft pick bid the same round as Dallas, then that team would get him. Teams don't know what the other team bid, though.Doesn't record, standings, strength of schedule and all the other criteria that goes into setting up the regular draft go into potential draft order?
