You wouldn't think it, considering his father, but Shadeur seems to be a traditional pocket passer. He doesn't run with the ball.

Total college rushing stats, 376 carries for 68 yards. So far this season, 77 carries for -11 yards

I thought he would be more of a double threat.

That's not a problem for me if he's an elite passer which right now he's not,,, you don't need to be a dual threat...

I don't realize how this whole narrative flipped from the traditional passer to absolutely necessary to have a dual threat ...

no really Russell Wilson and Prescott were never truly a dual threat but they could be mobile in the pocket and run when you needed to but when you take the run away from a passing quarterback it's not a big deal not in my opinion you guys some of you are just really gone off the other end of this narrative where it's changed where you have to have a dual threat...

Joe Burrows, Lawerence, Herbert, Love, Stroud, stafford,and cousins and all these other guys are not dual threat neither is Jared Goff I mean how much does Tua run and how is it benefiting him? concussions?

and they're doing just fine as NFL passers, I mean if you think a guy like Sanders can end up being Prescott or Wilson that's fine you take him but you don't take him in the first round neither one of those guys went in the first round by the way neither did Tom Brady neither did Purdy.. maybe sanders bit like Love IMHO not bad but how long to develop him?

I mean it would be a waste for the Dallas Cowboys to use the first rounder in the next two drafts on a quarterback or running back I just see too many holes here we need instant juice at other positions we need to build around what we have here at the core.

Ill take a WR but Hunter seems to be the best choice can get wr/DB out of him...whichever he blossoms at in the nfl we can use it!! or a Pass rusher, DT...

I am just not sold Shadeur is the answer.

Create a running game while protecting Dak,
and it might work out in 2 years maybe even next year.

This team has needs all along the trenches on both sides of the ball. Also could use an upgrade at premium positions of Edge/CB as well.
