Lewis really doesnt get alot of snaps and is still a commodity. He doesnt fit what Richard wants from a CB
Supposedly we shopped Lewis last yearSo far Chad Forbes is out there by himself without any cosigner's from Dallas media, so I guess it's fantasy for the moment.
This is dumb. Hard to believe the Cowboys would consider wanting to trade either one of these players who are young and can play DB very well. I would rather trade D-Law and his constantly injured, aging body and greedily demanding $22.5 mil/season self, than the much younger and cheaper to keep Byron Jones and Jourdan Lewis.
I can't understand the "hate" for Lewis. If he gets traded, he's going to end up being a stud for someone else.
He just has playmaking ability you can't teach.
Damn, Jones doesn't suprise me with his contract being up soon and his value at an all time high. I am suprised by Lewis though. They must believe in Anthony Brown?
I wonder who it is. The two I am thinking of are first round guys.
Trade Byron. Get a first back and grab some more dline. Or a safety
If it’s Layne in the first I will burn all my ‘boys ****. Better be Hooker.Same here. I do suspect he likes Justin Layne from Michigan State a 6-3 corner.
I knowSupposedly we shopped Lewis last year
I have 1 million dollars for you.
The problem is that I'm stuck in Nigeria and can't assess my money or friends and family.
If you wire 25K to me, I'll pay you the 1 million when I get back home to the US.
Lewis I can see. He's a dime corner at best here and is worth more to a zone team than he is to us.
Byron... I really don't. Dude looks like a stud CB, and he's very, very low risk. 4 totally healthy seasons in a row, 26 years old, elite athleticism, good technique, one of the smartest guys on the team, ambitious off it, zero character issues.... I'd give him 5 years $75M tomorrow. And I bet you he'd live up to every cent of it.
The problem is dlaw wants 22.5 mil per. Dak thinks he deserves a ton. Zeke is going to want be the highest paid back in the league. They have to sign Cooper otherwise they wasted a 1st rd pick. There is no way they are going to let Jaylon go. They may have looked ahead and said better to trade Jones while we can than let him go in a year for nothing.
He played the last 32 consecutive games.
