a friend told me that Farve was released today, but put on jets retirement list

teams the annnouncers think farve would be interested in are vikings, tampa bay & Commanders;

I think the retired list prevents him from going to another team. I think all this means is that he can sign a one day contract with the Packers so that he can retire a Packer.

Brett Favre-QB- Jets Apr. 29 - 2:27 pm et

Brett Favre's agent, Bus Cook, insists the NFL legend has no plans to end his retirement despite asking for and receiving his release from the Jets.
"He's retired, he doesn't have any desire to come back, and that's the way it is with Brett," said Cook. "He's mowing his grass. He's working on his farm. He enjoys that stuff." Sound familiar? Cook added that Favre asked for his release because he wants to retire as a Packer.

but it says here Farve wants his release from Jets so he can retire as a Packer, so i dont know, but thought i would put it out there

Yeah, I think it's for real this time, he's done.

They released him yesterday from their reserve/retired list. I think it's just so he can sign the one day contract... but he might be tempted to go tot he Vikings.

I hope so. His retirement act is old and more tired than Sarge's beer drinking arm. :D

Are you considering the announcers on TV your friends again? I thought we covered this when you swore you were attacked by all these furry little monsters that multiplied when you poured water on them.

ESPN was making it sound like he would be back last night. I guess we'll see.
