Surprise Stud: TE Hynum....all the talk about Fasano...I think Hynum will be the best blocker we've had in a while and will improve the running game.

Breakout Player: Johnson...I've had plenty of complaints about him, but I think this will be a breakout year for him, pushing Gurode to the bench or OG backup.

Surprise Stud: Not sure if its much of a surprise, but Terry Glenn is in a position to have a monster season for a #2 WR. There aren't a lot of CBs who can handle him 1v1.

Honorable mention to Flo - if he truly comes back as big and motivated as it sounds from the offseason soundbites, he could return to his pro-bowl form of 2 years ago. :crossed:

Breakout player: I think Canty is going to be a monster this year. HM to JJ if he can stay healthy.

If Rob Burnett comes out of retirement, switches from DE to LB and proves valuable, I will be very surprised.

As far as surprises, I agree with many folks that Petiti is going to show something good.
