He did score a 6 on his original test, then they said the test was graded wrong, so they gave him the same test to retake and he made a 16

They regraded the furst test and the score was wrong it was a 7 not a 6

btw, I don't think TO will wait it out, it's contractual suicide, most teams spend most of their money, well the ones with much cap, within the 1st week of the opening of free agency, players usually signed later in the free agency stage, sign for chump change, or teams go shopping for bargains, they don't go out to look for a mega-deal signing, and a mega-deal signing is what TO wants, so no, I believe TO will be with a new team within the next week or 2, if not next day...

I've never read anywhere that he actually scored higher. In every article that I have seen on the subject from every source that has been quoted he made a 6 on the Wonderlic.

I have seen PFT be wrong from time to time but no one is as consistently wrong as Clayton...not even Mort who is frequently wrong himself. I consider PFT as much a reliable source as ESPN any day.

If this is accurate, it sure is looking like the negotiating power is in Owen's hands.

How so? Because we're the only team that apparently wants him? Because his attitude doesn't appear to have improved, or because we have the option of maintaining last year's decent situation with Key or maybe moving on to Moulds in a pinch? Because we have a ton of cash in our pocket, and more than one reliable route to improving our team available to us? TO's got absolutely nothing in this situation. We don't need him. Denver doesn't. KC doesn't. He's got his reputation to rehabilitate.

My bigger concern is that he won't be happy with whatever contract he gets offered, but he signs it anyway. That would be a recipe for disaster. If he doesn't understand that he's in the penalty box, or we don't intend to belly-up, we need to pass on this guy.

Not sure what you were reading but there was a ton of reports released that Vince never scored a 6 including even comments from NFL officals and GM's like Charlie Casserly. The orginal report was bogus. Hell even ESPN confirmed it was false before PFT.com started to backtrack

PFT is about as credible as the weekly world news at the grocery checkout. Its a tabloid site that even admits they sometimes just throw things out there

Why would we release Keyshawn without an alternative? It would have cost us $1mil to keep him, to re-sign it's going to cost a LOT more than that after we have to beat out somebody else's deal. Keyshawn isn't coming back, quote me.

Has TO even been seen talking to Denver? Didn't they just say on Thursday that they're interested, but not THAT interested. Don't they have, what.. $6mil left in cap space? TO's not even gonna put himself on their Madden 06 playstation team for that much.
