Surprised at how little Luepke's been used

One word….Zeke……
And, for the front 50% - 70% of the season we were down by 4 scores by early 2nd Qtr
...hard to stay with the run game.

Do notice, Luepke used to be able to sneak out of the backfield uncovered.. not so much anymore.

And teams blitzing Rush more (not mobile), which forces Luepke to pick up a blitzer

I just don't understand how you can't see a player lined up in the backfield 23 times.
Cut him some slack brother, most people probably dont realize how many snaps Luepke is actually getting. Honestly if i didn't pull up the actual snap counts I wouldnt have had a clue either.

I'm not one of his truthers, but I think the kid has a role and thought we might see it expanded this season.

He's got like 15 touches this year, and I don't remember the last time I've even seen him on the field.

Kinda surprising. (to me)
I was more shocked at how much they hyped him up in the off season and didn't use him

Well it only took them 3 years to figure out how to use Turpin who is a speedster. They would never be able to figure out how to use Luepke!

it's not for you to understand, and it was already explained.
Explains to me that you don't watch closely. It seems to me that if you were interested in a player you could notice him on the field.

He's been in on 31% of the team's offensive snaps, which I would imagine is a lot more than most teams use a FB.

He was only in on 13% last year, so his role actually has expanded. It's just been more as a blocker than as a ball carrier and receiver. Admittedly. I thought he might have a little bit larger role in those areas too. Still not a big role, but I thought maybe 3-4 touches a game

Not surprised. This team is terrible at self scouting.

That's why Rico Dowdle is suddenly a weapon. It took this team 11-plus weeks to figure out what we all knew since 2020- Zeke was cooked.
