This team is in serious denial about quality WR depth. That said, Cowboys Drafted the best receiving threat at RB in the entire Draft.
you take a chance...... why not? we have our depth at RB....with proven commodities...yet take another RB? why? what's the chances of that RB making the team vs. a WR.
I am very surprised that we took another RB on days three but didn't take a stab at WRs. Obviously Dez is at top of the list. but Williams is average if nothing else and in the last year of his contract. Butler is speed but limited. Beasley is strictly slot guy.... we have no WR depth on this team....
That's a valid criticism.
Comes down to 11 holes in the dam and only having 10 fingers.
Truthfully if Dez is healthy the depth issue isn't a big deal.
That being said I would look for WR action come next draft. WR & secondary will be where the action is at.
I disagree . Even when Dez is healthy the offense needs another decent WR. Dez disappears at times and Witten is no longer the threat that he once was. Other than Dez, the WRs on the roster are hot garbage. Williams seems to be getting worse instead of better and Street shouldn't be in the league.
