It appears the Cowboys will stretch out their kicker competition throughout camp. Hajrullahu appears the favorite at the moment to win the job, but might be 1 of those trades prior to cutdown. We just need a kicker who can be consistent on extra points and making his kicks inside 45 yards. Easier said then done.

I believe the Cowboys are high on several of their younger receivers, but also would like to add a veteran to the group at some point. Question is, are there any fa receivers they like and at what cost? Could we see a lesser trade for one?

Wally appears done for the preseason with a injured shoulder, probably looks like a redshirt yr coming. Reports suggests Josh Ball play has been up and down thus far early in camp. They are going to protect Tyron in the preseason games and throw Ball into the fire, if he struggles, they will sign a veteran to fill the role.

In todays nfl u must have a kicker that can hit the clutch kicks at 52-55 yards

I don't see them bringing another WR unless we lose Tolbert or Brown and if they did, how fast can he get on the same page with Dak? I mean, how many games will it take? One, two, three........then Gallup is back.

There is literally not one decent FA kicker available. Better send the scouts out to the local soccer fields.

You can add center to that list in my opinion
I don’t they will upgrade this offseason.

Biadasz, Farniok would be the two guys. We all would love Tretter but there is a reason he remains unsigned

Kicker yes WR maybe and we could use some quality depth but at this point cupboards pretty bare
We can pick up some jags that are not much better than you got

Gallup realistically should be ready to full go in October. Might play early, but probably will be on a snap count. Teams are going to game plan against Lamb and either these receivers prove they belong or this team starts off very slow out of the gates. Still believe they will sign a veteran prior to opening night. It wouldn't surprise me if Washington receives an injury settlement too.

Hence why bringing in a vet now makes sense at WR.

But Jerry always overvalued the guys he has.

forget swing tackle,i am actually very concerned about our RT.
Like it or not, Steele is their starter and they will be moving ahead with him. Will be a strong run blocker, but still have some struggles in protection. Expect the team to give him the extra help needed.

Steele played well last season on the right side. He will have some ugly snaps at times in pass protection, but he did hold up for the most part.
He didnt play well he was a bottom tier starter. He was a backup for a reason. Idk y yall think just because a person starts on this it actually makes them good players.

IDK......if they felt that strongly about fixing the problem, I think they would have already signed another vet. Beasley and Fuller are sitting out there, why haven't we signed one already? I think they're going with Brown, Tolbert, and Pollard. As mentioned in another thread, according to a beat writer, Pollard is attending RB and WR meetings. Walker made an interesting point that if no other WR is signed, we won't have a No.2 per se. It will be Lamb No.1 and WR by committee.

I would like to contact the FO so I can suggest Sato, who is a kicker from Japan, to them. His long is an unofficial 65 harder. I like what I've seen in videos of him.
