And the discussion has been about whether or not we have the personel to run a four man front and about whether or not certain players can succeed in a four man front.
I don't think you would ever want to completely switch to a 4-3 when you have Demarcus Ware on your team
I think the pass rush would improve with 4 man front. Then can rotate the d lineman between Ratliff, lissemore, Brent in middle and ware, spencer, crawford and wilber at end
We mostly line up in 4 man fronts in passing situations already.
We were looking for players that could play in multiple fronts defensively.
Hatcher was 275 when he was drafted. Steelers have had a few 285 pound ends on their team also. Ravens wanted Crawford too.
My only point was that we have the d-line personel to run such fronts.
Now pipe down and go back to the kids table, the grown-ups are having a discussion.
