We havent been good enough in recent years for him to hate us, we just havent been that good.

I agree. His job is to cover the NFL games mainly NFC not the just the Cowboys. If people want to hear more favorable comments tune into Cowboy radio during the game. Myself I think Troy does a good job but like any announcer I don't agree with every comment he makes.

It is not a LOGO.

It is an image that can be changed to ROGER or other players in the image gallery if you wish.

People can change the image to different players, the only reason Aikman comes up is because he is the first in the image gallery because it is listed in alphabetical order.

There is a long list of images one can choose if they just hit the "Change your background" link.

You can even have a goofy picture of Jerry dancing.

Me and my boys always talk about how Troy hates on the Boyz so much. He takes a shot at us when ever he can. Moose does the same crap but he's not as bad as Troy. I hate listening to Troy.

If people like YOU loved Troy... that would mean that fans of the 31 other teams would HATE him. If he wants to stay on the air, he can't be biased towards the Cowboys. It's like if you worked for Coca Cola, but you loved Dr. Pepper. In front of your bosses you can't drink Dr. Pepper.

I don't understand why some of you are complaining about Moose? I don't think he ever hates on the Cowboys. Sometimes it's positive, sometimes negative, you've just got to deal with it.

Both these players deep down WANT the cowboys to succeed.

This topic is beaten to death whenever he calls our games.

My thoughts? He goes out of his way to not sound like a Cowboy homer. That's just my opinion. He's such a perfectionist at everything he does, and he realizes that everyone sees him as a "Cowboy." Therefore, he's worried that if he takes the Cowboys' side on too many issues, regular fans will see him as a mere Cowboy homer and not take him seriously.

Now, that's just my theory on the whole ordeal. Yeah, I agree he sometimes sounds overly negative. But, at the same time, we haven't exactly been good since he retired. Secondly, nothing he does or says in the booth will ever diminish his accomplishments on the field for this franchise.

Frankly, he won us three Super Bowls. He can now say whatever the hell he wants to.

Very astute observation. Enough fans complain about Joe Theisman, and thank God Troy is a professional at what he does now, just like he was when he played.
