LOL. This dude slays me.

Thing is, he might be right. I have rolled my ankles more times than I care to remember. Never a high ankle but many times a low sprain or a fracture. Even with fractures was 6 weeks recovery although the ankle was tender much longer. If it is a fracture, he is likely IR with chance to return.

As far as the injury goes, we don't have any dominating D lineman, so while it sucks that he could be out for a while it's not as bad as if it were Lee or Prescott or one of the three Pro Bowl OL.

I have never trusted pressure numbers; depending on the QB what looks like pressure on one is not on another.

So?

For the Cowboys, they are rushing the same QB each game. So it's not like Crawford is rushing a statue while say Lawrence is rushing Mike Vick.

Its not a comparison to the league. Its a comparison to other Cowboys DEs. Its quite applicable.

PFF has different people doing the same thing; that is the point. So their numbers are NOT reliable on something as subjective as a pressure.

The Cowboys missed on this player.

He's always hurt and gives average production and is paid nicely.
They didn't really miss on him as a draft pick because he's been decent for a 3rd round pick; however, they did miss on him in terms of giving him the big contract. It still seems odd to me. I don't think anybody else was going to pay him that much.

Have heard all sorts of stories behind that contract. Everything from Jerry pushing hard to Marinelli pushing hard and everyone else in the middle somewhere.

Not sure why some responses here but losing a guy like this is not good. Hopefully it's just a low ankle strain involving that one ligament. 6-8 weeks is what I'd guess but that is just pure scientific wild arse guessing.

There is a lot of dislike for Crawford, but you're right he's not nearly as bad as labeled by fans on this forum. He had 5 sacks last season and has position flexibility. Certainly not a superstar, but he has been a good contributor. Hope it's a 3 to 4 week injury, because the Cowboys are very short handed with the suspensions. Lawrence, Taco, Mayowa, and Tapper are it. Mayowa and Tapper are also banged up.

If we dont hear within the hour that x rays are negative, like they did with sterling shepherd, we'll have more reason to worry

Seemingly like every year with Crawford.

Some excuse why he is always hurt and will never ever justify the contract the front office foolishly committed to.

I don't think it's an excuse he's hurt... Looking at the video & the stills... That's a pretty good sprain (at least).

at the very least that is a serious low ankle sprain. You can't roll a foot that much without damage

Tyrone might not be worth his contract... but at this juncture we can't afford to lose another DL.

Lets not forget they keep asking him to bounce around which is difficult for a guy that is not uber talented. They may list him as DE/DT he is a DT playing DE. His second or third year they realized he could only play the run at DE and would not be an effective pass rusher.

I feel bad that this news doesn't really bother me at all considering we are perpetually without Crawford.
