Is he still on the team and if so does he get the nod at LG?

Start the bets at 10 pesos gents....

He is 3rd string at LG currently.

Cooper and Green have both played some snaps with the 1st string OL and 2nd string.

If Cooper or Green stay healthy for the duration of TC then it will likely be one of them that starts at LG.

Yeah, haven't seen much mention of Bell one way or the other, everything has been focused on Collins looking great at RT and Cooper and Green battling it out starting at LG. Little mention of any of the other linemen.

Going to be interesting for sure...(big) IF Green can make it through camp healthy it's certainly not going to help Bell's chances. Kinda have to keep Looney unless someone else can play C that I'm not aware of (Cooper?).

If both Cooper and Green stay healthy and can hold their own I'd say Bell is almost certainly cut.

And then there's also Clearly who looked to be a very capable backup last year as well...

I'm keeping 9 offensive linemen on my own personal 53, so I would have Bell sticking around.

Is Cleary our swing tackle? And does Looney have any place on this team? Backup center I would guess.

So, it's been revealed Byron Bell is best buds with Tay Stern. He's still around but I've not seen him get noticed in any good way.

Unless someone is a non pup injury going into the season I don't see that happening. Can't keep 2 inactive OL every week, maybe if 1 was a high ceiling young guy we didn't want to risk losing but Bell and Clearly are dime a dozen in my opinion.

I'd much rather keep d lineman that actually have a chance of playing and possibly making some sort of impact

Yeah, I'm keeping 10 defensive linemen too, until things sort themselves out there.

But, my thinking is that the O-line is the backbone of this team, success starts there, and I'm not doing anything to possibly jeopardize that position by going "light" there.

In fact, I have Nate Theaker and Dan Skipper pegged as OG and OT candidates for the practice squad and the future.
