Use your imagination and say we end up with Moss.

Say after the first three games of the season Moss has 18 catches and 4 TDs. Say, in that same time, T.O. has 9 catches and 0 TDs. Say we are 3-0. Factor in that T.O. has said numerous times....as long as he's winning, he's ok.

Can or will T.O. keep his composure?

I think he will. IMO, TO has become a changed man.

He knows he doesnt have THAT many years left to get that ring, same with Moss.

But I dont think TO could stay out of the endzone in 3 games. More likely scenario is Witten have 4 TDs and Crayton having a couple.

I still don't want Moss on this team .

Get realistic. Owens was happy this year because he was the play maker. He said that himself when talking about Garrett utilizing him the right way. But that being the result of the new guy in town he was never fond of? Riiight. 9 and no TD's in three games? That's a play faker.

Say the game is on the line and Dallas decides to throw up a lob pass to Moss to win the game and it doesn't look like Moss gave full effort.

Does TO absolutely explode and rightfully so?

It doesn't matter if it's a headcase like TO or an overall good guy like Fitz-2 #1 receivers can NEVER co-exist, it's common sense. They're also rhythm guys like running backs are.

Romo and Garrett are too smart to let this happen. There will be a conscious effort to get the ball to both of them. Also, this will not happen without the 2 of them getting together and saying they are fine with it and don't care about individual #'s, just wins.

That is some bigtime wishful thinking.

Dont forget we have Witten as well.

This would be a bomb waiting to explode.

Both guys have spent their careers being compared to one another.

Even Moss has stated before he doesn't think TO and himself could play on the same team.

Its not a question of would things go bad its just a matter of when.

If the entire offensive line AND Witten are healthy and on the field, do you REALLY see Owens without a touchdown in that scenario? I don't and it hurts my head thinking it could happen.

Depends if we are winning or not. I really believe that most of these volatile, prima donnas just want to win and get paid. If they win, they usually are quiet. It's when they lose and don't get involved in the game is when they start causing problems. I'm sure they don't really want to be decoys, but if it gets them a victory, then they live with that payoff.

If both are motivated they are going to be incredibly tough to defend as long as long as the rest of the offense is reasonably healthy.

It sounds nice but we are talking about 2 guys who are considered the best in the business who also happen to have some of the biggest ego's in the businnes.

It just doesn't work like that.

Didn't Jerry tell TO about some of his plans for the offseason? Wasn't TO very excited about what he heard? I'm sure he did mention about picking up another WR, pretty sure the name Randy Moss may have came up!

Sorry, CrazyCowboy, but it would be better to wait-and-see if it's possible first.

Why would Owens smile at that?

To anyone that thinks Moss and T.O. can't share a spot light. I think you all forget that Owens played alongside Jerry Rice and Moss played alongside Chris Carter. I am not saying Moss will be a cowboy but they can play with other star recievers. The only problem would be deciding who is the #1 and who is the #2. Now that could get sticky.

I still think this is all a ploy by NE for Moss to go out and find out what he can about some other teams. come back - report and he signs with NE. Just some more Belicheat tactics.

But didn't T.O. have a drought last year where he was being taken completely out of games. And I thought that the reason the other team said they wanted to do that is because they knew he would eventually explode.

If you triple teamed T.O. just to make sure he does nothing and Randy gets all the plays, isn't that a major meltdown waiting to happen?

Which opponent/player said that they were going to make sure T.O got zero catches if nothing but to see him and the team implode? Was it Giants?
