I dont see Sanders on the list so it makes sense to me.

Lot of great names though.

classy post, skins.. :)

and what I like the most is that everyone has their last name on there, but they went "Emmitt" instead of "Smith".. thats what i would have done too..

kinda funny that they included Lett on there.. i mean, i liked Lett a lot and he was a very good player, but he is out of place with all those great names and legends..

also, anybody else think its weird that the names are in alphabetical order, but the A's start at the bottom, then it continues on and goes to the top?

Well, "Bum" isnt exactly a first or last name. However I didnt notice the order until you pointed it out.

I think they put Emmitt because there were several Smiths over the years but only one Emmitt.

Whoever made that banner was a Diehard fan. Props for their effort (even if it is for the wrong team).

Would you have prefered H.R.?

I wouldn't have put Bum on there since he hated Tom Landry so much, but hard to fault the rest of the list.

And Bum Bright gave Tex the orders to fire Landry. Tex just couldn't do it...And then Jerry bought the team and the rest is history.

Oh and something else...They have Bum Bright, but no Jerry Jones or Clint Murchison. Strange.

I think they put "Herschel" in the lower left.

I love me some Herschel !

As far as I'm concerned, if T.O.'s stint in Dallas is a successful one, he will be a "real" star.

Here's my reaction:

Yeah, they could have at least arrived early enough to put the sign down at field level.

But then they didn't put Cornell Green on the sign, so that shows you what they know.

Obviously nothing was going on at the time since all the fans are looking in different directions and no one is paying attention to the field.

Notice there is a whole lot of stars, here at the game in the crowd? I've notice and I've also notice people expression on trying to see it or after seeing it.

Just Look at Dave Chappell in the babyblue number #7 jersey with the white hat under the name Emmitt on the banner.

Notice the lady all the way on the end to your right in the referee Dallas Cowboys shirt, she just seen the flag and it looks like the hamburgers and hotdogs she had that night was about to come out on Martha Stewart head.

Notice Jerry Jones with a New Orleans Saints hat on sitting far right behind Sedrick the Entertainer who seem to be wearing a Roy Williams Dallas Cowboy jersey.

Notice the girl that played on the ring that was in the TV, she has her head on the banner

and Last but not least, notice that Terrell Owens is sitting all the way at the Top Right, almost at the end of the picture towards the top, with the basketball Jersey on.

(BONUS)
Notice the man with the drink trying to get a peek at the old lady.

Who is Labban ?
This picture was posted yesterday and all we could figure was maybe Eddie LeBaron...

Also this picture is a bit larger and clearer...

They definitely spelled Don Meredith's name wrong...

I can't see your image, but LeBaron makes sense.

I have been a Cowboys fans since 1966 or 67 and I was embarassed that I didn't know who Labban was. :D

That is a solid photo.

As much as I despise the Cowboys (hey thats our duty)....I totally respect and admire that sign/gesture the Cowboys fans did.

That was really unexpected but total admirable.

Thats a Major Statement by Dallas fans. Congrats on that one.

That is the part that I found strange also. The only Owner who DID NOT bring a Superbowl winner to town.

Same here.

If he stays in Dallas a few years, plays well, is a good teammate, and makes us a better team while he is here, .. he will be a Cowboy to me.

After that, I couldn't care less what he did in SF or Phil.

As a matter of fact, if he brings success with him to Dallas, I would wink and like him more for disrupting those two orgs.
