My bet is that they don't both come back. Which one would you rather have and if you let one go who do replace him with? No cop outs by saying both.

TO playing with a bad hand gives him a pass for another year IMO

I'd rather we keep both

there are no WRs out there better than TO

and no coaches, despite Cowher, and it's not a sure thing if he plans on roaming someone's sideline next year

Good question. I would like to keep Bill Parcells only if he gets to choose his DC. Zimmer must go! I think keeping TO is a dangerous proposition. He is a great player even injured. He just has so many mental issues it's kind of scary. When will he blow up? You kind of have to look at his past history in a sense. He should know that if he doesn't make it here in Big "D" that his career is probably over. Not 100% over, it's possible that some idiot would take another chance on him, but I'm saying unlikely. Either way, Bill is a great coach and TO is a great player. I would hate to think of our offense without TO. I would hope if he goes that we have someone else to come in of his caliber. We can't afford to lose his ability on the field. He had a great year. Better than I thought he was going to have. We need BP to stay at least one more year.

They're both coming back IMO, but I guess depending on who we would get to replace Bill, I would opt for TO. I think with a full training camp with Romo getting ALL the first team snaps they will be hell next year. Also, I don't think it is any coincidence that TO gave his best press conference of the year Saturday night. He will be on his best behavior from now until he is sure that he is going to be here next year.

The dude (T.O.) wanted to cry with/for Tony Romo. His emotions can be his greatest strength if you ask me/

I am telling you folks... TO and his emotion streak could benefit us greatly if we could get him involved more. All he wants to do is score TD's for his team, for his QB - to WIN!

Ok lets break this down.

Did TO have a GREAT year? No
Was he helpful with offense? Yes
Could he have done more? Yes

The contract was structured so that if he did something detrimental to team or whatever he could be cut after each year?

So the question becomes.... Did he?

If you let him go now then the organization has "quit" or "given up" on T.O.

I think Jerry wants to see a FULL year with Romo and TO and company before he throws in the towel for..... mediots reasons(reasoning).

I'd say TO if we use him correctly. Give him the short slants, WR screens, and crossing routes that he aboslutely kills defenses with.

I agree, and I do not think we used him correctly, and he still put up good numbers despite the drops. Get him the ball in space, and let him run with it. He is a beast once he gets the ball if he isn't getting hammered on 3 yard quick slants.

I answer your questions with .. yes .. yes .. yes.

I like Owens. I want him back.

I want Parcells back too but it would not break my heart if he doesn't come back.
I know we could do worse, but we could do better too.

As much as I like having Owens on our team though, it would make me nervous to have him and not have Parcells.

That's an excuse. You can't just count the total number of drops. You have to examine when he made those drops. There were several drops he made to kill drives and hurt our momentum.

How can you say we are not using him right if the ball hits him in the hands and he doesn't catch it, that's not the scheme. That's TO not focusing. And if we limit him to only slants, you think NFL defenses won't be able to find a solution to that?

and viceversa, because we'd be going back to having a conservative O w/o TO
