T.O. ran a 4.1 40?

If that's true, so much for Terry being our "speed" guy. Again, what's his use in this scenerio? We would have been better off keeping the possession orientated Keyshawn instead.

How much anyone wanna bet that Terry and TO going fly-routes down the field, that TO is the guy pulling away from his double-team before Terry pulls away from his single? It's gonna be embarrassing for Glenn this year, one can almost understand why Key hightailed it out of dodge the second he got wind of this. Terry would be wise to keep his mouth shut about what he will do this year on the field until his play actually starts speaking for itself. A pupil of Parcells, you would think he'd be smarter. He's setting himself up for a fall.

It will be Superman Vs. The Glass Man. Oh I just wonder who's gonna prove to be more superior, lol.

I really had no idea about his worldclass speed, I may just have to alter my sig stat prediction...lower.

Yikes, what's with all the venom toward Terry Glenn? He's a roleplayer, a classic number two receiver and he fills that roll nicely. Yeah, TO can do it all, but how many TO's are there these days in the NFL? I'm happy to have them both and I think Owens-Glenn-Witten are going to terrify defensive coordinators in 2006.

Of course not.

If anyone thinks this is true please find another source and explain why he lasted to the 3rd round.

You might want to pursue that as a "contested entry."

Agreed - I would go so far as to say that was probaly added to his file on Wikipedia by someone who has no idea what they are talking about.

This is why wikipedia is not a reliable source for information.

exactly...there is nothing to stop anybody on here from writing that drew bledsoe threw the ball 100 yards to a 3.9 terry off his back foot into the wind in the snow on the frozen tundra of texas stadium...

I was always under the impression that Deion Sanders unoffically ran the fastest 40 time in history and the only one ever under 4.20

Even if this is true, I doubt he runs a 4.19 now at age 32 LOL

I am going to search more to see if I can find another source to help back up wikipedia, but I have to admit I dont think it is true

"Owens ran the fastest recorded electronic 40-yard-dash in NFL history, clocked in a blazing 4.19 seconds"

source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Terrell_Owens

WIKIPEDIA HAHAHA! anybody in the world, with no knowledge can go on there and post whatever info they want. haha my history teacher allows no wikipedia on essays because the information on that site is complete bogus, as anyone is allowed to post whatever they want on their. either way, i have seen TO's 40 time range from 4.47 - 4.76 and neither of these come close to that fake 4.19 which btw is faster than Deions 4.23. either way 40 time means jack for a WR if you havent noticed Jerry Rice at 4.74 Anquan Boldin at the same time of 4.74.

TO - 4.47-4.76

I don't recall Owens being that fast in the forty. 4.19 is ridiculously fast, but I wouldn't doubt that some scout had "quick fingers" during Owens' run and recorded an unofficial time for him. Whoever posted that most have Owens confused with someone else.

yea, he also likes to swim down to the titanic in his spare time and pull up artifacts.

he's been known to wrestle tornado's that threaten the elderly, and win.

he can order chinese food in 17 languages and 483 dialects. TO can cook a 3 minute egg in 3 seconds and no one can tell the difference.

TO can run the 40 in 4.1 seconds.

he likes to throw bowling balls at the moon when it slips a bit out of orbit to fix it and then surf to different continents on the waves he creates, barefoot.

he then swims back using a combination of the breast stroke, australian crawl and at times the doggy paddle just to show those who can't swim it's ok, they can still doggy paddle.

as many cowboy fans will tell you TODAY, TO doesn't deserve his rep and people should give the guy another chance.

TO likes to weave baskets of wicker and bamboo at the rate of 6 per a minute for blind people to sell on the street.

TO has plans to personally solve all of New Orleans problems and he works late nights hauling dirt to bring the city up to sea level in his hummer.

these are a few of my favorite myths...

Didn't Alexander Wright run a 40 time below 4.20?

Thanks for the vote of confidence from a MOD.

I was just asking a question since I was looking up some stats on T.O. and that came up on that stat. Answers.com lists the same 4.1 40 time, however, it seems to be ripped off straight from wikipedia.

hmm, rexrobinson, I do not believe this to be true, because I've heard that T.O. was actually really slow with his 40 time, and he's alot better as a "football fast" guy than a "track fast" guy.

As for wikipedia, it does suck, people can put random stuff on there. For example, someone could easily say, "Drew Bledsoe clocked in a .001 40 time, and has been renowned as the fasted, most mobile QB in the universe."
