TO isn't that fast though

haha bo jackson ran a HANDTIMED 4.19 fourty, add 2/10s makes it a 4.39. deion is the fastest man to play football, Jevon Kearse ran the same first 10 on a 40 (they are tied for #1 fastest first 10 yards in a 40 yard dash) but deion has recorded the fastet at 4.23. like i said before TO runs 4.45 - 4.76, close this thread please.

LOL I did not notice that. I just went in and edited it to say, "This did not happen."

Didn't Alexander Wright run a 40 time below 4.20?

AtlCB, Wright ran a 4.09 and another sub-4.2 40 at some point during training camp in 1991 at Valley Ranch. However, this was a Cowboys scout timing him if I recall correctly.

Funny enough, that story was recently recounted on a "where are they now" type of article that they did in the DMN on Wright.

If i remember correctly Derrick Williams, the now sophmore reciever at Penn State ran a 4.18 electronic last spring, i'll try to find a link. There is no way TO runs anything below a 4.4 he is too big.

On a second note, the fastest player i have ever seen in person (not including pro games) was when i played against Eddie Royal who now goes to Virginia Tech, i think he ran a 4.3 something and he was just ridiculous nobody on the field could touch him.

Owens won the celebrity slam-dunk competition at the 2000 NBA All-Star Game.

Do we have an athlete here or what?

Is this true?

"Owens ran the fastest recorded electronic 40-yard-dash in NFL history, clocked in a blazing 4.19 seconds"

source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Terrell_Owens

According the Mel Kiper's draft book for 1996, Eldorado ran a 4.61 40 at the combine... while the track back then was notoriously slow (which is why a lot of top prospects skipped the combine back then), that means he was probably in the 4.5-4.55 range...

Clearly, there's no way he EVER ran any 4.1 40, no matter how it was timed...

I doubt it but who knows......heck he is fast but not DG or DS fast....

Staying away from the darrell vs Deion debate I will mention that Maurice Greene claims he ran a 3.9

Being that he was the fastest sprinter when I heard this I believed it kinda....

I don't put it beyond him though....he's smaller than to,dg, & deion......maybe less wind resistence= extra .2 off ???.....

I searched for it in the underground records book but never saw it......

Anyone know what I talking about?......
