they were...however, I still believe that they were hunted by the "Dave Campo's" of the world! The whole dynamics IMO have changed since then...and now that they lost in the SB, are a year older, McSlob has been exposed, disgruntled players, Andy Ried 40lbs fatter, etc!

Remember the "Dirty dozen"? They went to the SuperBowl that first year! Yeah, they lost, but, the whole dynamics of that team changed...and they became Champs...

Remember how all the teams started to come after the Cowboys HARD, after that first SB? Anyway, I think that this season will not be the cakewalk that they are used to for the last few years, "hunted" or "hunter"!

That's my story, and I'm sticking to it!

I just don't believe that the Eagles will fold. Jeff Laury (sp) is a hardnosed smart businessman and he is not going to get held up by a punk like TO; he will play it just as hard as he has to and it won’t be a bluff. And if TO tries to call his “bluff” then TO will wind up sitting in on some sports talk shows for a fraction of what the Eagles would have paid him and watching the NFL pass him by.

I hope he does try this crap and leave after day one. You can bet your behind that he will be back on day 5 after the letter is sent. If he doesn't he will miss a year of his career...money down the drain. He is stupid but surely not that stupid…but if he is I will laugh so hard my sides might split.

Some forget how the Eagles won home field advantge throughout the NFC play-offs. The Eagles defense had a bye and their home turf in the cold against the Dome Falcons and Vikings..............

If the Eagles are able to win home field advantage again with the likes of Pinkston and Lewis starting, I'd induct Andy Reid into the HOF in 2006. The don't have the same defense that carried them to the past 3 Championship games. Taylor and Vincent are gone, Keith Adams is going to be a full tiem starter, who knows how they'll replace Derrick Burgess, will Kearse stay healthy for an entire season.

They aren't the same team and without TO IMHO they are weaker on paper.

That is how I think too! That is why I really think the Eagles will fold this time, and give SOMETHING in to get T.O. back into the good graces...

The Eagles are saying all the smart things, but, I think T.O. really does have the advantage here, that is, if the Eagles want a Championship! However, they have screwed it up for what? Last 30 or 40 years! What's to think they know better now!
