What a classless loser.

Every chance he gets to be a scumbag he jumps at.

I'm excited about a new coach and new direction, but not having to watch that dirtbag for another year. He truely lacks even an ounce of class.

I think that eventually, more and more of his teammates will speak up to the fact that his opinion is just as dumb as he is and not to be taken seriously. Brady James took somewhat of a hammering on this board for voicing his displeasure (due to his bad performance on the field), but I suspect that he is the first of many that will step up if TO remains on the team. Sooner or later, people just get tired of idiots spewing and point out that they are idiots.

If he isn't going to play like he is paid (and he didn't), then his opinion isn't going to matter to most.

His comments weren't necessary, but what he said was on point. Terry glenn had the same frustrations and spoke out. Defensive players were griping about the schemes being to vanilla. I agree with owens, after the giants game we were 8-4 and the sky seemed to be the limit, but after the saints game the team imploded, and zero adjustments were made by the coaching staff. Ultimately parcells must be held accountable.

What I disliked about the comments weren't so much what he said, but the fact that he said them at all. Granted, he has a right to speak on any issue, but IMO, he wasn't here long enough to actually state whether Parcells ways was outdated, because he didn't know what it took to get the team to where it was even mentioned in the same breath as the word "contender"

He wasn't here when the team was coming off three consecutive 5-11 teams. He wasn't here when Parcells magic took off in 2003. He wasn't here when we had Vinny at QB and a revolving door at the CB spot. He has no clue about Parcells contributions to the team.

And then to fall back on "Because, I wasn't used properly." Just shut up dude. Like LiBreton said, "wish the old man well" and leave it at that.

I think TO and Parcells are both classless in this. I don't see how it can be one or the other.

magic in 2003? parcells has been on record saying in 2003 he was getting back aclimated to the game, and pretty much let zimmer, payton and carthon run the show. of course parcells had his imput, but he did give all that credit to the coordinators.

i think people just et their hate for TO blind the reality of what he said.

u cant doubt anything he said, because the record and the collapse says it all. sure owens isnt always politically correct, but the guy makes alot of good points.

i just dont see why all the moruning of parcells. he basically quit on the cowboys. i said this from the time he was hired, that when it got tough he would bail. the guy is all about himself. he had total control, and he just couldnt get the job done. i say *** him. he bailed, his loss he deserves everything he gets

"Magic" is just a term I used to describe the excitement behind Parcells coming on as the head coach his first year. I figured I needed to define it since that obviously wasn't very clear.

However, I don't remember him saying anything about giving all the credit to his coordinators. Do you have a link or source to that quote? Cuz based on Parcells history here, do you really think he just let his coordinators go willy nilly on their own, especially those that he is unfamiliar with? I don't think so.

You question the comment, which is ok. But the main question is WHY does the media HAVE to ask TO about what happens in Dallas(since he has not been here long enough).

Mike Vanderjagt is released then media asks TO what do you think. We lose the game then they ask what happened. Bill retires then a day doesn't pass and they ask TO about what happened.

Who gives this guy so much power and platform to speak. Yet they dissect his every word. If you don't like the message then don't give the messenger a chance. But you think the media cares what he says. Just right now Mike Ditka is praising Bill Parcells and bashing TO, because TO says change is good, then says that the better change would be a new owner. Now will anyone bash Ditka....NO double standard.

Some of us feel this love that some have for TO blind them as well. Even some players have started talking about distraction regarding TO recently Brady James. Now of course since James struggle people will blow off what James said but it does not mean other players don't feel the same. TO is a very good player but after a while his mouth gets old and his antics do as well. Dallas brought him here to play not run the team, right now TO needs to take care of his own business for a change and shut his stupid mouth. As long he flaps his lips many of us will continue to come down on TO.

im a huge TO fan but i dont even know if he'd be good to be back. i like what he brings to the game but the injury to that hand? as it is he never really had good hands to begin with. i dont care what players or coaches do on their personal time or what they say when they arent on the field. i love the game, im not obsessed with their personal lives or what they think. to me its all about the cowboys on gameday.

he has a mouth, but so what. thats the game today, nothing but egotistical you know whats.

Personally I think people overrate TO's influence in Dallas. He's just a popular punching bag for some folks. I get just as tired of hearing about fans pumping up TO's contributions this year as I do the bashing of TO. It's an old song that's playing on a scratched record.

Other players have been asked about Parcells departure and I didn't have a problem with their responses. TO could've limited his comments to "Maybe it was time for him to go. The organization may have needed change. I wish him well" Or something to that effect.

But to add the comments "Because I wasn't used properly" and all that jazz, it just comes across as whining. Especially when the numbers have disproved how often he's been targeted and was able to produce despite a bum hand and some critical drops.

Then maybe you should try a google search or something, because no way do I think Parcells gave ALL the credit to his coordinators for helping him ease back into the game. I recall him giving them credit for their work ethic and the jobs they were doing, but not that.

Owens "thinks" he's back next year. Everyone knows that Jerry believes that he didn't get his money's worth this year. Jerry still holds the cards and and must decide if his 8 millon dollar salary is worth it. Owens should shut up. It's not like he's going to be around this offseason to prove that he's with us. Crayton was on K104 this morning and basically said that they don't pay attention to T.O. because they expect the craziness from him. Again he said it has no effect on the lockeroom.
