T.O. speed

That's Tiki in 2nd place. What do you want to bet Tiki runs sub 4.6?

maybe if you had replaced Tiki with Champ i could see your point. I never said TO was slow, remember that.

I dont know how many times ive read this on this board, but TO did not outrun Champ....he simply juked him out of his pants and just ran uncontested to the endzone. Lynch and whoever else was in the area would not of caught Mark Brunell if he was given that much room after the juke.

You generally need speed to juke a fast cornerback out of their pants.

You're missing the entire point. Given you're a Skins fan, you don't know much, but Brunell wouldn't have made the juke in the first place. That's the point. I could care less how he scored uncontested, as much as I care about the fact that he did.

Roy tied for the fastest 10 yard dash the year he came out.... tied with Philip Buchanon at the combine.

Roy has a great first step and I believe that is why he hits so damn hard. Explosion....

Didn't hurt that he had the angle when he snapped T.O.'s leg like a twig. :)

AND... T.O. was not running a straight line... he had just caught the ball and was just starting up field... not full steam by any stretch... but we are talking about PT here.... so..... ya know....

I love the fact that no matter what happens, eagles fans are secretly all very jealous that we have Terrell Owens now. They will never be the same without him,he is a playmaker beyond most.:lmao:

Thank you!
Thank you!
Thank you!

Exactly!!! :hammer:

No, I know what the point is. You guys think TO is now an olympic sprinter. I'm a skins fan, so that means i dont know much...spare me. I never said Brunell would of made that juke, i just said he would of ran it in uncontested since he had so much room (of course im still exagerating)

Champ got caught from behind by who in the playoffs? Full sprint.... TE with the angle yeah but still. Does that make Champ any slower of a player?

Lynch had a better starting position and the angle and couldn't catch T.O. Not too bad.....

Ben Watson is very fast for a TE first of all. 2nd of all Champ had just run 101 yards and was probably pretty damn tired and probably thought there was no one behind him (kinda like Lett in the Super bowl). U can even see Champ slow down towards the end as Watson comes in for the kill.

Yeah, I knew Owens had some speed, but I just thought he was great at breaking tackles and turning up field fast.

Probably asking for trouble here but I've watched TO for more then just a few years and I don't consider him to be a fast WR. He doesn't really run away from anybody. I don't think he has 4.19 or even 4.4 speed. I think he probably runs 4.5/4.6 but who really knows? His game is not blazing speed. His game is touch catches and RAC yards. JMO

bah ha, you must no have been watching the same TO then, why do you think he gets so many TD's, and has such get RAC, because when he catches the ball, he has the speed to get away from DB's, and take it to the house.

I don't know how his measurables would be now, but he has one of the quickest first and second steps I have seen. That is definitely fast twitch muscle fiber at work there.

TO has played in the WCO his whole career. That offense is designed to produce RAC. That's the whole concept. Doesn't matter, those who wish to believe TO is a world class sprinter will do so regardless.

Those who don't will not.

When it's all hashed out, that is what it comes down to.

For the Washington fan-all you have to do is tune in on Sunday night, September 17 @ 8:15 EST, & watch TO blow past anything you got for DBs. Then you will know how fast TO is..........:) .

My only regret is that Joe Theissman is no longer doing Sunday Night Football. I would love to hear all the reasons why TO just made another TD. "The Cowboys get a lot of calls their way at home." "I just can't see how the official missed the offensive holding on TO." "Lucky catch." "Waaaaaaaaaaaa".

Maybe Parcells will learn and put Newman on Moss when the game is on the line.

Maybe.

lol i bet you sit up late at night dreaming that eh? Good keep your dreams, cause the skins will be getting owned again

T.O. might be the most dangerous receiver in the NFL with the ball in his hands, but he's also a complete WR. Go to any TO highlight video on youtube and you'll see him beating CB's with every route in the tree.
