Taco Charlton

TJ Watt is a 3-4 OLB....he couldn't play 4-3 DE....that's why he is good in Pittsburgh...even Ware who was bigger, faster and nastier than Watt struggled at 4-3 DE and eventually moved on to Denver and back to his OLB position...... I still don't want watt...... never thought he was a fit....this has nothing to do with Taco being bad or the wrong pick....

This doesn’t sell for me. Never has and never will. Teams move players back and forth between 3-4 OLB and DE all the time.

And this team has done it again and again whenever it’s suited them.

And they easily could have done that with Watt instead of drafting the bust that we currently employ.

People don't realize they drafted taco because he was a LDE insurance policy in case d law sucked or left for free agency. We knew we needed RDE help and went a more LDE prototype. People here keep screaming for TJ Watt. He never would have had that same production here. My pet cat that draft anyway as a RDE prospect was carl lawson. Who lit it up his rookie season then got hurt last year.

This defense is what it is because of him.

Because he has been a colossal failure is why we had to trade for Quinn. His ineptitude is why we backed up a Brink's truck for Lawrence.

Face it. He is a bust that rivals Bobby Carpenter so far.

But hey, he has a cool sack celebration that impresses the idiots.

What is he rolling a joint? What a total loser. I hate the guy even more now.

Lol he's making a taco but it does look like hes putting bud in a dutch lol.

And if you look at the first guy that takes it, it looks like he starts puffing on the joint as he walks away.

But now I remember it was a taco he was making. LOL

He was acting like he was eating it. But with a helmet on he can't make it clear lol.

Taco is a scrub.

A lot of people said it at the time so it's of no great surprise to most.

Blow your nose and move on asap.

no they don't. which teams do that? how many found success? I gave you an example of a cowboy player, a sure HOFer, who struggled as a 4-3 DE. which other players moved between 4-3 DE and 3-4 OLB.

you may not buy it, as it seems you are dug in on you hate for Taco more than reality of NFL. I don't care for Taco one way or the other. I have nothing against him or for him. its a draft pick that didn't work out. Watt would struggle as a 4-3 DE. with his hands on the ground, LTs would have a field day shielding him and he would struggle as a pass rusher and run stopper. he is one player whose true fit is a 3-4 OLB and not much else after that. he is not even a true LB in the sense that in any other position, he would struggle in coverage against TEs and RBs.

I'll give you a better one - Charles Haley. 5 Super Bowl rings Charles Haley.

Your baseless predictions are entertaining.

It was a TERRIBLE pick. The guy was seriously over drafted.
He is a bust
He was ranked the top 6th - 7th before the draft. That's not a real reach at the tail-end of the 1st round. Not to mention that not all picks work out instantly or at all.
Fans he like to use hindsight a lot.

Really, though, what would he actually bring in a trade?
Probably not much I just read an article yesterday said maybe mid third-rounder late 4th rounder there were a few teams interested in him in the draft but after his performance who knows

Charles Haley was a 4-3 DE..

One example in 30 years of football and more so from 30 years afo.. Not impressed.

You said all the time..... Charles Haley as an example is not all the time.

You just don't like Taco. I get it.

At least Taco got the shoulder surgery right away that he needed.
If he gets his attitude straight and puts his nose to the grindstone then I think he improves this year. Not sure how much but he will improve.

What was he before he came to Dallas? Do more homework.

I don’t care if you’re “impressed” or not. If you think I’m going to cite every example to satisfy you, you grossly overestimate you own importance.

“Like” has nothing to do with it.

I think it's not all Taco's fault that he hasn't met everyone expectations. I put some of this on the coaching staff. and bad timing. Not his fault the player he was drafted to replace blossomed into a franchise player. Change of scenery maybe needed.
