From the 50,000-watt voice of reason and supreme truth, some quick post-game observations made from a fairly good motorola TV screen and contributing reports from news services around the world and in Farmers Branch, where Dixie flies high above all public buildings.

An observation:

After scoring ANOTHER receiving touchdown, T.O. was on the bench and was approached by Jerra who came by to kiss his ring. (And by the way, any of you T.O. hatahs know if he went over a hundred yards today? Get back to me, please.)
:)
If you don't like T.O.'s public profile, just tune it out. It would be for the best cause T.O. will be around for some time.

If you are talking about football -- and I would assume you would be -- it's a no-brainer that it would best for T.O. to be here. I think Jerra will bring T.O. back.

As for Parcells or T.O., I think the tide has turned.

Jerra would rather keep T.O. than Parcells.

Why?

So glad you asked, cousins. In Jerra's mind, T.O. could serve him longer than Parcells.

So maybe next year, it will be Parcells coaching for the Giants and Zimmer going about his merry way as DC here with a head coach TBA.

Just an observation. Some predictions. I think next spring will bear me out. :strongarm :starspin :starspin :starspin :starspin:starspin

Do you really need to call out anyone that does not care for TO?

Maybe you should use your energy calling out the team instead of thumping your chest.

We also lost a game to the worst team in the league (check that, not anymore) and have zero momentum going into the playoffs.

But you knew that.

From the 60 watt bulb of "Being annoyed with chest-thumpers" I declare this thread lame.

Please close this thread.

Threads like these, I think, are what help fuel the anti-TO hype.

The guy should be back next year. That's the bottom line. He's a productive player and will not be easily replaced. In fact, I'd go as far as to say we'd see the "Wish we had TO" threads emerge quickly once we see how average his likely replacement would be.

We don't need threads hailing his greatness, however. Where was he getting open near the goal line to win the game? Like everyone, he deserves blame today, too.

He's one of 53 players. It's time to treat him as such.

What ring was Jerry going to kiss of TO's? I didn't realize TO was married?

I'm running out of hammers and nails for you Dale.:hammer:

So not only does TO gloat if he has a good game in a horrible loss but now his fans and lovers will do the same.

haha

As one of the largest proponents of that which is TO I still think the endless back and forth is totally lame. The sooner threads like this stop popping up the better.

"take that"?

what are you, 12?

Alright. Wat to go TO! You made some catches and scored.

Ain't that what you were paid to do???

Anyway, seriously, he does deserve some props on his 800th catch.

Next week we will celebrate his 800th drop.
