Taking my 5 year old to his first game today. We are both pretty damn excited. I can't wait to check out the new stadium.

Post some pictures later. Have a blast. Nothing like a boy and his Dad at a game.

Where are you staying? Close to the stadium?

I'm 17 now, and I can honestly say the best moments my dad and I ever spent together were at Cowboys games. We didn't get to many, but when we did: he was superdad.

We are at the Residence Inn about 2 miles from the stadium. They have a shuttle to take you and I think pick you up as well. There are a lot of hotels to choose from pretty close to the stadium.

I hope that this will be one of those moments for him too. I know that it will be for me.

There's nothing like your first Cowboy game. My dad took me to see the Cowboys play the Skins way back when and I've never forgtten how mch fun I had. Here's hoping your son gets to see a win.

That's cool. Soak it all in. I took my son to his first a few years back when we beat the panthers down in charlotte. Bledsoe was QB and he hit Terry Glenn with what was simply an awesome catch in the corner of the endzone with about 20 seconds left for the win.

What a great day! Hope yours is just as good.

There's just something special about taking your son to his first Cowboy game.

I took mine to the Chief's game two weeks ago.

It was an awesome experience. We were high-fiving and hugging. When Austin raced to the endzone to win the game we were screaming and hugging!

It was a blast.

Memories he and I will always cherish.

i'm going to do that thing so many hate when i do here and loosely bring up soccer. its a great thing taking your boy to the game. my dad started taking me to see celtic when i was about 6 or 7 and we now (i'm 27) have season tickets beside each other. i love going to support celtic with my old man and we usually go to the pub before and/or after the games meaning i see a hell of a lot more of him than i probably otherwise would. i would definately say that going to the football has meant that i have a closer relationship with my dad than i would if we didn't share that and when i have a son of my own i will definately be determined to ensure he grows up a celtic fan.

Have a great time! Don't forget your camera. You'll both appreciate those pictures down the line.
