Now that we, meaning Cowboys fans, have had a week to back away from the cliff, again; lets he honest here.
Listening to numerous Dallas Cowboys radio shows and seeking, like many of us Dallas fans are, answers to yet another bone crushing season ending loss.
If we are honest: This Dallas team OVERACHIEVED and we keep buying this hoax that the Cowboys are always loaded with talent.

The outside media and personnel people say differently.

There are many publications that have list of the best rosters. EVERY year these publications say Dallas has a roster in the top ten and above.

You have all the talking heads giving opinions and ALL say Dallas has one of the best rosters in the league.

You have NFL GMs and others involved in team building. They say Dallas has a top roster.

The AP is the most respected of all the All Pro teams that come out and they had NINE Cowboys on 1st or 2nd team.

The only people who think Dallas has a middle of the pack or worse roster our their fans.

On this point I am going with the outside point of view.

So, if we overachieved then no one should be upset about losing in the Wild Card round.

There’s some talent or we wouldn’t have win 12 games the past three seasons but it’s overrated and players underachieve in the big games.

Elementary, lad.
We do have talent. You just equate talent to achievement.
Raw talent we have.
Game plan and execution we do not.

Easy peasy.

What we have is 11 super stars and 11 high school players. Yes, I'm exaggerating to make a point. The DT/MLB/FS positions are so weak it sabotages everything we do on D.

On O: No starting RB and an OL that is regressing w/ age.

Exactly---- this has been the trend for years. Why are shocked each and every season when this happens? Answer: Because Jerry and the media sells pyrite and the fans buy it. This team had zero LBs. Couldn't run the ball or stop the run. Since Week 13, Dallas was 31st in the NFL stopping the run. 2nd to LAST Had really one WR, which GB doubled and took him out of the game. Lost the #1 CB with Diggs and fans still believed this was a NFC Conference game type team.
One more note: every season--EVERY SEASON, the Cowboys collapse after Thanksgiving.
