Talib or Jenkins

jenkins. Atleast he's not a thug..i just heard the bucs are releasing him because of his off-the-field-antics.

So Talib's mom opens fire on a guy and Talib grabs the gun from her after two shots and unloads the rest of the clip at the guy? Dude has NO respect for women, you just don't do that to your own mom. Do not want!

PFT is reporting Talib is done in TB...if they could he would already be cut..his days in Tb are over..according to them

This is not fair. No one knows what he had to go through in his personal life. He should not be judged until given a fair trial.

Thanks for playing, I'll still take Mike Jenkins.

When you <have> to pick Mike Jenkins who was, statistically, the worst CB in the entire NFL last season, you know the pick-ins are slim...

He's always been in trouble. That's been the knock on the guy. Just doesn't get it.

Talib is expected to be released as soon as the CBA stuff is solved.

Is it fair to his team and teammates when they can not rely on him? He falls into the Pacman category. You never know when the guy is gonna end up in jail or be suspended. Why waste the time and work on them when there are reliable players out there.

If Talib's agent had any common sense, he would contact a Hollywood producer to get both his client and mother to audition for the sequel of:

I know I'm kinda dumb, but I'm all for taking a flyer on guys like this. I'd bring him in if we can get him cheap....I wouldn't count on him to solve our CB problems, and even if we got him I'd still target Peterson in the draft if he slips. But if he does pan out, and keeps his head on straight, the plus side for a guy like this and the team itself is huge.

I didn't think Talib vs. Jenkins was a big time issue.

I though Jenkins vs. Cason was more of a hot topic.

And if he actually shoots someone as a member of the Cowboys? Enough of the thugs. I'd rather have Alan Ball (at CB) than someone who could tarnish the star like that. :starspin

No thanks. You're asking for Pacman Part 2.

Talib was going to get into trouble and most knew it. Hell he is a KU guy and even I didn't want him or can defend him now.

Yea, I was on board with the Pac Man signing and it's the same thing here.

Low risk, super high reward.

I wouldn't say its low risk.

If the guy turns out to be turd and gains too much attention off the field or goes the way of Tank and completely becomes a POS in the locker room, you've done far more harm than good.

No thanks, I'm done with guys like this on the Dallas Cowboys. We have seen what they've done to that locker room in the past. I'll take Jenkins who has the potential to return to pro-bowl form, even if not, I would take Scandrick just as quickly.

Then cut him the instant he's a turd...and I don't remember hearing Talib is a bad locker room guy, I actually have (maybe unjustified) a notion that he's a good guy to have as long as he isn't shooting anybody :laugh2:

And I think this is a stronger locker room now than when Tank was here so his impact in the locker room would be minimal anyways.
