Dez pursued Jordan to join his brand. Jordan was hesitant and Dez offered the trial basis to prove himself.
Yeah, this wasnt inside info it was posted here.

I'd love to see Romo get a ring (like who wouldn't?), but I would like to see the team competitive for the next decade and not just the next 2 seasons.
I survived Danny White coming close and not getting a ring, I would survive Romo not getting one.
"Dez we are trying to help you by giving you less money. Trust us."
What kind of joke reporting is that?
Agree
I actually cant wait to see if the team and Dez will work out a deal before FA starts. If not i would love to see this forum explode if a team offered Dez a deal lol. The end of the world would be here for some.
But their production dropped off significantly while being large cap hits on their teams.

Never heard of him, what does he do?
Jason Fitzgerald said after doing the work and looking into numbers and talking to teams, the market value for RBs seems like it will be between 4-6mil.
Explains why we don't want to restructure Romo.Dallas wants to get from under this Romo contract within 2 yrs.
They need to move on from RoMac. Only a matter of time before he let's them down.
NFL doesnt allow the poison pill anymore.

There's a crap load of good WR's coming out.
And no, they probably won't be a "Dez" but given the various talent on this offense they don't have to be either. The passing game doesn't have to be Dez-focused in order to succeed.
On top of that it would create a crap-load of salary cap space.
I'm not asking to be rid of Dez Bryant, but I can think of worse things that could happen than to get a couple 1st round draft picks AND to free up a bunch of cap space.
The other thing... It wouldn't kill me to see someone take Dez off the Cowboys hands for those 2 first round draft picks.
I love Dez and I wouldn't hate getting two first rounders for him either.....problem is if it's the Pats you are not getting anyone in his stratosphere at #32. Than yes I would hate it.
But if it's the Texans or Jets or Jags, then not a bad deal, right? See what I did right there? I merely turned that frown upside down.
