The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have called a 1:00 p.m. ET press conference on Saturday. Team officials would not say what the press conference was for, but deemed it "big." The press conference is likely to announce the signing of Philadelphia free agent quarterback Jeff Garcia, who is at One Buc Place.

Garcia had a flash in the pan season last year, the Cowboys made him look all world with that Vanilla defense and horrible play calling on offense...

He's actually a pretty good QB in the right system.

If they put together a good o-line and dedicate to the run, I think Garcia can be an effective starter in Tampa. I'm not so sure he can last a whole season though.
