Other than CeeDee, Dak has no other serious weapon to throw to. Even Mahomes would struggle with this receiving group.
Mahomes #1 target is TE Kelce (1,338 yards)....after that he has WR's Schuster (933 yards) and Scantling (687 yards)......after that is running back McKinnon (512 yards).....not exactly household names rated as top tier WR's.....the difference is Mahomes elevates those players while Dak does not elevate his receiving corps....you have Lamb (1,359 yards), Schultz (577 yards), Brown (555 yards), Gallup (424 yards), and Pollard (371 yards).

Sorry but outside of Kelce does Mahomes have 'serious weapons' to throw to? I would argue what Mahomes has is equal to what Dallas has....the difference is the QB.

Mahommes gets more done with less. And doesn't lead the league in INTs while doing it.
Mahomes has the best TE in the NFL.

Mahomes has a top 5 Oline.

Mahomes has a solid #1 & #2 wide receivers.

Mahomes has a way better receiving RB.

Mahomes has a top 5 best head coach and O-Coordinator.

Clearly, Mahomes has much better players and coaches around him. It's not even close, so what the hell are you arguing about?

Why don't you add all of the backup receivers for Mahomes the way you intentionally and slantedly did for Dak? We all know you hate Dak, but to go to the length to spin players and numbers overwhelmingly one-sided is downright unfair.

I was simply comparing Mahomes starting 2 receivers and TE to Dak's 2 starting receivers and TE. In total receiving yards, Mahomes starting receivers & TE outnumber Dak's starting receivers & TE by 700 yards. Huge difference that favors Mahomes!

Just thought I would share these

#2 passing team at 269.2 yards per game
#32 rushing team at 76.9 yards per game

In our first meeting Brady threw for 212 and we allowed 152 yards rushing.

Tampa’s Defensive ranks
#9 total yards- 324.4 per game
#9 passing yards- 203.6 per game
#15 rushing yards- 120.7 per game
#14 in points allowed at 21.1 per game

In our first meeting Dak threw for 134 yards and we rushed for 71.

The secondary is going to have to step up!
The Cowboys defense is the least of my worries. Did you see that pathetic offense last week. That looked just like the opener against Tampa. Dak was awful!

Other than CeeDee, Dak has no weapons, especially those that get any separation and open. Did you not see the Commanders game last week?

For the record, when it comes to playing Tampa Bay, the Cowboys play more competitively on the road. I like the Cowboy's chances this time.

If I’m not mistaken, 3 or 4 of our losses came on grass.
yes, I think that is because grass means open stadium, wind weather cold etc, also means it is a road game.
Not just this year either, goes back a ways.

I’m more worried about them being 1-4 on grass fields this year.

I think it comes down to which team has the best game plan, and coaching. Which team wants it the most, motivation and effort.
Then throw in luck bad and good, and the ol refs lol.

I'm sure the equipment guy has been told to be sure to pack the correct shoes. ;) They'll be fine playing on the grass. Don't they practice on grass?

Well, either the 1-4 record has something to do with grass, or being on the road, or just a coincidence. But Monday will be on grass and on the road, so if it’s one or both of those things, they’re in trouble.

Considering the Cowboy's 40-3 blowout win over the Vikes on Turf, I'm thinking it's less about being on the road and more about the surface they are playing on. Maybe the win over the Vikings was just an outlier. I don't know. I'm just thinking bring the correct shoes and be ready to play your butts off!

Agreed. I think there's something to it, but what do I know?

The coverage and pass rush came together for the Commanders. Dallas was flat and the game plan was vanilla but suddenly the Cowboys tried to turn it up and couldn't. Dak is absolutely not the answer for this team. Sometimes when a team struggles the QB must step up and lead by example to get the team out of a funk. I fully expect to see this happen again be it the BUCS or the following game. It's just who he is!

Tampa has a lot of gamers. Fournette didn't have a great year but I'm sure he'll be a load Monday night just like he was in the opener.

If I had Brady, I’d pass every play. I think in the past we beat him with a Passrush. I wouldn’t sit back with DBs, I’d probably run some kind of 34 defensive and pressure Brady. He’s got the RB, slot dump off passes down so that will be frustrating.

Heavy dose of pollard and some type of play action, rpo, delayed screen on almost every play.
