Arch is going to stay in Austin for "on the job" training until his eligibility is up, in hopes for bragging rights over his uncles doing something they never done which is win a NCAA championship while getting paid Millions for subpar play surrounded by elite talent.

I’m not for NFL players refusing to play for a team that drafts them, but at this point I wouldn’t even blame anyone if Cleveland drafted them.

The Browns have had one solid QB in the last 30 years (Mayfield) and they let him go for a more “mature” serial sexual predator who they traded 3 firsts for and gave $270m guaranteed to. Who is now the worst starting QB in the league.

Worst franchise in American sports and it isn’t even close.

Maybe the football gods will bless Arch and send him to Arizona or Miami. At least his career wouldn’t be toast from the beginning there.

True. I don't see greatness with Arch. He's just a Jag. Can't lift an entire team. Needs a lot of help. He needed benched actually. For 3 quarters he was a hot mess. The play calling was also atrocious. Can he someday turn into something? Maybe. He needs the right system and coaching. To me, he's a mid round QB. A guy you stash and develop.

How about letting Arch put together a whole season of good play.
He has shown flashes but it is not always consistent. I remember watching Peyton and Eli in college and for the most part you could see it. Plus I do not think they had a team with overall group of players as good as what Texas has had for Arch.

Sadly his last name hurts him because so many have put up so many unrealistic expectations for him and it has to stress him at times.

I think he will eventually turn out to be a decent QB. But hard for the kid to live up to the unrealistic hype many fans have put on him because of his name.

I'm a UT fan. I want no part of Arch. His decision making ability at the college level isn't good. That won't get better at the next level. Does he have some good wins? Sure but if you watch him every game, there are some glaring issues. Quinn Ewers won a lot of games at Texas, too and he's on his way out the NFL in a short period of time.

I also don't see someone who has any real zip on his balls.

He’s still raw and inconsistent. One play he’ll throw a 30yd dart to an in stride WR for an TD and the next play he’ll over throw by 5 yards.
