i think the tuesday deadline was impoosed by jerry to make him do the deal now. but i was under the impression that suspended players still count against the 53 man roster.if they did'nt why cut jones? you could cut remmy and then sign him back. he was home when we signed him anyways.i don't know if jones would clear waivers

Geez, that means we only got Henry & Reeves & maybe Ogelsby. Would be surprised if Newman ready to go Sunday. Hope we can get Jones back but since he's that valuable a commodity -- a CB -- somebody might claim him -- like the Bears.
