This Tank looks good. Sort of shorter but thicker than Canty/Spears, can't wait to see what he adds to this team.

I don't think Tank was brought in to rush the passer.

then you don't know much about Tank Johnson, get educated, he's an up-the-field DT, his strength is rushing the passer and making plays in the backfield

He looks like a slightly smaller Spears. So, why can't Spears play Nose?

his arms are bigger and the legs are equal if not bigger, plus as a shorter guy he should have an advantage at the nose as far as leverage is concerned.

Dude is much bigger than I thought he would be.

Well that's nice and all, I didn't even know he had a specialty, but he's playing NT now, not DT. There are no "up the field" NT's in the 3-4, unless you don't want anyone playing the run or freeing up lanes for the LBs. He's not going to be able to play the way he did for the Bears, that's what I'm interested to see, how he makes the transition.

I do understand however, that he has the ability to get into the backfield, I'd be interested to see if he has any possibilities at DE for next season since it's probably too late this season, and we have no depth at NT.

A lot of people see him coming in and tearing stuff up, but I'm not sure if he's that much better than Fergie is/was.
