Might be transitioning to a rotational guy. He’s only going to get 6-8 sacks a year IMO.

dude made few TFL on run plays, pressures, i mean another post thats obviously a hater poat. he actually flashed many times tonight. its not all about sack totals. this defense is playing great and Hes part of it.

DLaw had 25 combined sacks in 31 games between 2017 & 2018....then he got paid....and in the 39 games he has played since then he has a combined 14-1/2 sacks....his motivation was getting paid and since then he has settled on becoming a run defending DE.

A good runs stuff here and there just isnt good enough for all his talk and what we pay him.

The next highest total on the d-line was 2 tackles.

He's a run stuffer, and he reworked his contract to help the team. But he still has a 26M cap hit next year. A lot for a run stuffing DE. But he knows his job and seems like he does the work. He's not an impact player and we can't expect him to be one at this point.

He has an all around good game. He isn't going to be a premier sack guy. But he does a lot to help teams win. Be mad about his salary...but blame the GM for that.

DLaw plays the LDE position...which is what he has always played....and Parsons is playing a rushing LB role at times.....besides, Parsons wasn't herein 2019 or 2020 when DLaw was the invisible man.
