Tanks contract restructured

That’s funny!

They’ll use the 13 mill for FA, Zeke’s June 1 money for the draftees, perhaps?

Jerry won’t spend it all. He loves rolling it into the next year, but he also saw how important holding back became when injuries hit during the season.

I doubt it’s a big marquee signing or splash. I could see a cooks trade but I bet we sign a role player and use the rest on extensions

I am not for kicking the can down the road on Tank. Poor move unless they have something specific they need the cap space for.

IMHO, it’s why I think many are saying an uncharacteristic “big move” is imminent.

Lol people told me I was crazy to suggest Lawrence would restructure. A mod called me delusional. Haha, it's not hard to be right if you just watch how they run the team. Listen to what they say. Cause they'll tell you exactly what they're doing.

Fisher said tyron is coming back, he informed the team.

Something BIG is coming. There was no need for this. Maybe a trade because a free agent would have a low year 1 cap hit. I’m guessing a WR. Hopkins?

also maybe Diggs extension coming soon

Exactly..........we have no free agents left of our own that would require such a large cap hit that we would need to redo Tank's deal, even Shultz could be done easily with a low year 1 cap hit.

According to Spotrac we currently have $16.8 million with another $11 million after June 1st.

So thats almost $30 million in cap space..............we could resign all of our own free agents and our entire draft class and still have millions left over.

2025 is going to be brutal for the Cowboys. They must be betting on a huge CAP increase in 2024 and 2025 after the new TV contracts kick in.

One thing to consider is that Dak's contract currently is set to expire after the 2024 season, so unless he signs a new extension there is going to be a huge chunk of money available in 2025 if we have a new QB on a rookie deal.
