Wouldn’t be surprised if Dallas is looking to trade down to someone like Kansas City at 31 and pick up an extra 3rd round pick. Some reason I think they want to get their starting left guard with Avila or Torrance in the 1st.

I did a follow the money post last week, both rusher/corner would be better for their future cap allocations as the need to clear money off their books for several big extensions starting next offseason. Mayer probably gives you the most immediate impact, but plays at a low value position, think it would be a toss up from the other two as both tested elite at their respective positions.
Low value. LOL.

I'll take Travis Kelce on this team over any cornerback on the planet.

And Mayer is a higher rated draft prospect than Kelce was. It isn't even close.

And none of that addressed the notion that TE is low value.

You can have your cornerbacks. They would do jack squat in beating the 49ers.
You are going to need corners to play against those AFC heavyweights.

We already got another good weapon in the passing game that teams need to respect, they will add another TE, but they need to get out of some contracts next offseason to keep their core group together. Corners, especially good ones, cost a ton in the open market, far more then TE's.

Is everybody in agreement with this pic and ignoring what is being reported that are three tackles including Tyler Smith or manning the tackle position. And guard is still a weak spot regardless of our free agent signings

They need to use our 1st round pick for the CB depth chart in 2024 instead of low value positions that need upgrades now.

I mean, where do you even go with that? The man's sick. A zombie ant.

If a team is in a win now mode, and there is a player they think can’t be a future piece AND help them get over the top now you have to seriously consider that player. Maybe that player happens to be aTE.

Too many have a "grand slam" fantasy at 26. Tyler was a home run. All these guys are 2nd rounders after the teens. I will take a solid double and run.

Mayer: Witten 2.0

Kincaid: Best hands in this draft including TEs and WRs. Not much of a blocker.

Washington:
Might be Gronk: 10% probability.
Might be Marcedes Lewis (Top tier blocking TE): 90% probability.
I think those percentages need to be adjusted. Lewis ran 0.2 seconds slower in the 40 and 0.7 seconds slower in the 20 yard shuttle. There’s not as many humans as big and athletic as Washington. I still thinks he has the better career out of him and Kincaid.

If Carter drops to 18...I'd be on the phone with the Steelers at 17, in an attempt to move 9 spots.

Defense complete!

I would go Nolan Smith if it happened like this.

Actually, if Witherspoon fell as far as he did here… I would absolutely trade up to get the guy. I think he’s going to be one of the few superstar players from this draft. I think that him, Carter and Will Anderson are the best players from this draft. Witherspoon’s attitude and play style alone would help your defense… not to mention his skills.

If you can get Witherspoon on your team, I think you should do it.
