I don't think great WR or not will win a SB. SB are won by the best teams. I'm thrilled we have Dez back in the fold he is a great player but Dez is not going to win us the SB, Romo is not going to win us a SB. It is the overall talent that can go out and win a SB, that means a lot of guys stepping up and making plays to help their team win football games.

You would notice a hugde difference without Dez. You think Beasley and Witten would be running free if it wasn;t for him? TWill even.

Dallas is better with Dez who has said they are not? Acting as if the team is all 1 person is not factual. What if Dez misses the team just packs up and quits? Of course not. We have some very good talent on this team it is not solely based on 1 person.

Without Dez teams can stack the box. It's an entirely different dynamic..

Teams stack the box with Dez as well. Dallas running game was the biggest part of the offense accounting for over 40%. Teams stacked Dallas then. I like Dez and I am glad he is here we are better with him than without him.

Every time they left Dez in single coverage by stacking the box we made them pay...

yes but I think our other WR are a bit better than some give them credit for. Again is Dallas better with Dez? YES is Dallas incapable of winning without him? In my view NO.

Winning what exactly? 8 or 9 games, maybe 10. When the horses start running we wouldn't have enough to sniff a Super Bowl without him...

Who is too say, there is no one right answer until or unless it happens. I just think any team who would collapse because of 1 player was not that great of a team to begin with.

Collapse or excel? The Dez factor is real. With Dez teams have to game plan around him and assign double teams, without him teams can play man for man, stack the box more often without fear of getting roasted, etc.. I guess we are just going to keep going in circles here..

I think Dez is great and have said we are better with him than without him but that does not mean Dallas is incapable of winning and competing even without Dez. He has missed games and Dallas has won. Do I want him here? of course, who wouldn't. All I am saying is the Cowboys are more than just Dez

Hit rewind:

Without Dez we are about a 9 win team, with Dez we are legit Super Bowl contenders..

Once you start playing more complete teams, specifically in the post season you will miss the Dez factor and lose those "Big Games."

Maybe so then again those big games aka the post season Dez had 2 catch for 6 yards total in 2 games others stepped up and produced including the whipping boy T. Williams who had 3 catches for 130 and 3 TD. Beasley 7 catches for 101 yards and Witten 11 catches for 134. Add Murray into the mix 44 carries for 198 and 2 TD. I love Dez but when people want to act as if the others have no talent and it is all because of Dez? BS

They all have success because Dez is occupying 2 Defenders....

Witten was putting up numbers when Dez was still in high school. I will not take away other players own accomplishment. As for Dez again I like him but he needs to take that next step 2 catches for 6 yards in post season? I expect a lot more and all the double team talk well it never stopped Irvin from producing in post season.

*Sigh*

First off Dez would have "Better numbers" if he had 2007 Romo throwing the ball to him, instead he has a more calculated passer with less arm strength in his twilight years.

Romo used to fire the ball into tight coverage, now he has to wait for perfect opportunities. I'm hoping he's fully healed now and has some of his old strength back but after surgery and given his current age, I'm guessing he will remain more calculated with his throws..

The plus in all of this is that he throws less interceptions these days and he has a good o-line to afford him time as well as help in the run game so he doesn't have to throw so much.

The reality is that Dez is always open, even when he's double covered but again there's that issue I mentioned above.

Romo's production is up, numbers are better than ever, but his overall physical ability has diminished. He's playing smarter and not harder these days and we are seeing less turnovers.

Irvin had a young strong Aikman throwing the ball to him, Dez has Mr Zipcode throwing the ball to him, big difference..

I like Dez but taking away from what others do is not right or fair to them. In the end Dez is on the team and will be for a good while. I'm glad about that I just do not think a great team is due because of only 1 player.

It all depends on the situation, ours dictates we have a guy who can make circus catches and out play other defenders for the ball at a moments notice. Dez bailed us out a lot in 2014.

Yes and avg 5 catches a game. I'm Sorry Dez is great but he is not sole reason we win games. T Williams bailed us out as well Vs Houston, Vs Seattle he made some big time catches. Dez is important he is not the entire team.

Romo doesn't catch his own Zipcode passes, only Dez comes down with it..
