Mine is flipped. I think that this team wants Scarbrough to win that RB3 job, possibly because they feel they have a better chance at getting Jackson to the practice squad than they do Bo.

I like both guys myself, but I can't help but to think the team prefers Bo. But there's plenty of time left for that competition to play out, right?

I personally would go with Tapper mainly because the 4th RB would probably not get many snaps.

I don't like Bo for this team at all. We already have 2 big backs that are better than him. Bo like I said looked scared hitting the hole. He lucked out on that corner trying to tackle him high and him breaking that run open. He could barely score from the 1 on his second attempt. He doesn't get low and hits the hole like a baby.

I'm not necessarily big on Jackson either, but I think Jackson is at least more well rounded than Bo in that he is a better receiver, and is more likely to contribute on special teams. Of course, Bo still has a chance to prove he can do those things too, but I think that's a bit more uncertain at the moment.

Is that the flash? Any more? The last few years the Giants have had one of the worst Olines and LT's in football. Just sayin. Hasnt had a camp yet where coaches talk great about him or he stands out. Nothing like Gregory or Armstrong. Not once.

I can't see us carrying a fourth RB even if we don't keep Tapper.

I think we're more likely to carry a fourth TE or a seventh WR.

Part of the reason for that is that we know absolutely who our top two backs are. We're not at the point where we truly know who will emerge at tight end or wide receiver.

BTW, if Tapper plays like he did against San Fran, I think we'll keep him, but at the expense of another position.

Right now, I've got eight OL and eight DBs because I don't like the depth beyond that at those positions. At OL, we'd be choosing between Green and Edwards for that eighth spot and at DB, it would come down to Duke Thomas, Ward, Kelly, Robinson or Showers. Are there four players from those groups worth keeping? (My certains beyond the starters are Looney and Fleming for the offensive line and Lewis, Brown and Frazier for the DBs. It wouldn't surprise me if we add someone at one of those positions during final cutdowns, though.)

Scarbrough averaged 3.7 yards per carry, including his goal-line attempts. Jackson average 3.5.

Both had a big run: Scarbrough 28 yards, Jackson 13. Both didn't do much on the rest of their carries (Scarbrough 8 for 5 yards, Jackson 5 for 8), but again Scarbrough had two carries from the 1, scoring on one of them, and 1 from the 2.

Scarbrough had 2 receptions for 19 yards, with a long of 11. Jackson had 1 for 14.

You asked, I showed you. I don't deny that the guy hasn't played due to injury, but you asked about what he's shown. He has shown up the few times he's played.

Between Olawale and Tavon Austin we could manage for a short time if we somehow got in a bind and needed a 4th RB, so I would be surprised if we kept a dedicated 4th RB. Unless Bo ends up tearing up the preseason, I wouldn't be surprised if the Cowboys try to slide him to the practice team.

trey Williams reminds me of Darren sproules. would like to see him get a few more reps Saturday and final preseason game. lots of good competition at the rb spot.

Bottom line is that he is toast here if you think about it. IF he makes the team it will be as the last guy. OR close to it. This team has plenty of young, promising DE's all in front of him. Havent heard a peep about him all camp.

He's that bottom guy, no doubt. Number 6 of 6 at this point. Probably in the 50's in terms of roster position too.
