My boys are on an absolutely unreal run right now.

Just completed an epic comeback over Miami in the ACC quarterfinals. Down 19 with under 10 mins to play, only to win it at the buzzer.

After Kendall Marshall took over the starting PG spot, the Heels are 13-1 (the one loss at dook in Cameron after blowing a 14-point halftime lead). I don't think I have ever seen a freshman step in become the unquestioned leader on the team. His dish to Zeller today to win the game was incredible.

Barnes is now living up to his potential. Zeller is the steady force in the paint. Henson changes the game with his defensive presence. McDonald has found his shot once again.

Roy has these kids peaking at the absolute perfect time. Shoot, if they manage to win the ACC Tourney and beat dook in the championship game, I think they have a legitimate shot at a 1-seed. If you would have told me that after watching this team get drubbed by an awful Georgia Tech team, I would have slapped you.

I still think this team is a year away (If Barnes and Henson make the right decision to stick around, Knox is the only contributor that would be gone next year...that's scary), but I am loving the way they are playing right now.

Our Heels are rolling.

I think lack of experience will get them in the end, but it is hopefully going to be a great ride. If they somehow win the ACC tourney (today was not a good start, btw), they have ashot a a top seed. Who would have thunk it?

I saw some stat saying 34 of the lat 36 champs played in the tourney the year before...so I'm wary but looking forward to the Madness.

A.B.D., by the way

Yeah, I have no clue what this team will do in the tournament. It wouldn't surprise me if we failed to make the Sweet 16 or if we made a run all the way to Houston.

I still can't get over the game today. After those atrocious first 30 mins, we played arguably our best 10 mins of the season to close out the game. As young and inexperienced as this team is, there is absolutely no quit in them. It all goes back to Marshall. One of the most poised freshman PGs I have ever seen.

And as much as I would love the opportunity to beat dook again, go Terps tonight. ABD, indeed.

I'm kind of agnostic when it comes to college sports. I tend to follow different teams depending on the story or the players.

I like UNC, I guess.

But ABD is my favorite team.

For sure.

I'm just glad that Roy was able to stay healthy and persevere through such tough times last season. Poor Coach K's would've had to step away with that sensitive back of his.

See you on Sunday.

Yeah Roy just decided to throw his team under the bus in the tough times. He is such an admirable character.

Yeah, Roy could probably learn a thing from K. It is always admirable how he sticks up for his dookie victims...like Gerald Henderson. I still can't believe how Hansbrough viciously attacked a defenseless dookie, smashing Gerald's elbow with his nose like that. Thank goodness K was there to have his player's back.

Then there was the time he backed William Avery's decision to go pro by cussing out his mom like she was a ref that didn't fall for one of Paulus's flops.

True class.

See you on Sunday.

Considering William Avery's mom has denied this ever happened, I'd say you're talking out your ***.

GTHC.

Ha. Of course you fall into the "Kirkpatrick made the whole thing up" camp. Typical.

Glad to hear Smith is likely gonna play today. Last thing you dookies need is another excuse.

Sunday.

What's gonna be your excuse? The players are too young? I'm sure that's what you were thinking for 39 minutes and 59.9 seconds yesterday.

I said I thought this team was too young in my very first post, before you dooked all over this thread.

Should be a good one today. No better way to end the ACC season.

A little payback by Duke on the Heels today for sure.

It should be a fun NCAA tourney this year in any case.

I'd be very surprised if either team won it all, but as always, one or the other will cause at least some damage.

Let the MADNESS begin!

If Kyrie comes back (like it looks like he will), and plays well, then I feel like Duke will be the favorite.

Not a great effort by the Heels today.

Dook always wants the ACC T more than any other school.

I just hate the charges Duke always gets, no way Strickland should have been called for a charge. As Gottlieb said, "is there a rule in the ACC than when a Dookie falls, its a charge?"

Curry's mom is hot

Duke got no more favorable calls today than the Tar Holes did. Zeller had two offensive basket interference calls that were no calls. One of them went for a three point play.

The difference in the game was defense. Duke played it. Singler shut Barnes down.
