Dude, really? You had to go there?
What amazes me is how many of you get the wrong image stuck in your heads and can't appreciate the other one.

If DeCastro is sitting there at 14 and we pass, Romo should demand a trade.

Seriously, the guy is going to get killed (literally, see collasped lung), if we keep shopping in the discount bin for o-line.

Our best offensive lineman is who we drafted in the 1st round last year..........that is not a coincident, if you want stud o-line you have to use premium picks.

If we can get DeCastro and make Benardeau the project / spot Center I'd be ecstatic.

Is there any chance that they see Decastro as a guy who can move to Center?

Yeah even with our huge FA haul, we still have too many holes to fill in the draft cause the most I would expect us to get in any draft as an immediate starters is 3 guys.

The 8 holes you listed and 3 guys don't really match up too well, we will have to use our resources as effectively as possible at this point.

Look for us to once again be ultraggressive in the undrafted rookie free agent signing frenzy... I look for a QB, a WR or two, a TE or two... OT depth, more secondary help and probably a few to several linebackers...

Human nature.

You blend the topics of the perfect body + inflamed and bleeding hemorrhoids ... I'm clenching my butt cheeks and lookin' for a fire extinguisher.

Yeah that should come down to recruiting again.

The churning should continue, and I expect some unexpected cuts when that time comes around, and I'm excited we are finally in a position to where we are getting some youth on this team as a whole cause we need it desperately.

I think I'm in the same with a large part of Cowboys fans.

I'm afraid that with the Livings and Benardeau signings, we will once again go on the cheap with the O-Line. And once again at about midway thru the season, particularly on the road, we'll struggle when teams blitz and stunt to the inside and the running game will slowly erode.

I think Nicks was a bit out of our price range. I think Grubbs was affordable and we decided to look for Livings. I'm greatly disappointed that we haven't looked to pick up an established, quality center. And I can't help but get the feeling that come draft day we'll be scratching our heads once again as to why we didn't take somebody like DeCastro.

As I like to say 'your best thinking got you here.' The organizations dogmatic philosophies of doing just enough to get bye on the O-Line and at safety has resulted in 1 playoff victory in what? 15 years? And we missed the playoffs the last 2 years.

Perhaps it's time for a change in philosophies like this.

agree 100%.

I would love decastro and konz, but how do you see that happening? No way konz moves past the colts at 34. Do you see us trading other picks to get back in the first?

And brooks won't even be there for our 2nd round pick, much less available in the 3rd.
