NFL.com has him ranked at 51 so that would be right in our second round range. I wish there was a way to come away with a quality G/C, WR, LB, 1T DT, and safety in this draft. And for good measure pick of a COP third down RB later in the draft like Ito Smith or Akrum Wadley.
picking him at 50 is a reach i feel. i wouldn't mind using our comp 4th and 3rd to move up in the 3rd to get him.
Here's a not so flattering game of his. Mind you, he had a lot of production against the run, just tallied up a lot of negative plays.
I wish there was more tape so I could get a better feel on the guy.
Definitely not worth a 2nd. Shouldn't reach for projects. Taking him as BPA on your board in the 4th would be value, 2nd.. not so much. Huge risk.
His rankings are all over the place. I've seen some have him in the 3rd and I saw one that had him like 40th overall prospect. And someone pointed out one of the NFL lists has him at 51.
I'll be honest.......... he reminds me of Jones. Great combine type numbers, pure athleticism, suspect hands, not the best tackler.
I like him but 50? I just don't know.
Wasn't Broaddus going around spewing that nonsense that Rod was going to tampa it was 100 percent happening like a week before Rod signed a 3 year extension here? I don't think he has any reliable sources lolI trust the Cowboys ability to draft. I do not trust Broaddus' insider information nor evaluation of perimeter skill players.
