:laugh2: So off base.. But I understand. It's like the 4th of July for some of us.

Ok, so maybe he gets the hotdog job. But it won't be long before he'll get fired for dropping (aka fumbling) the hotdog, and refusing to pull french fry duty (aka I can't play special teams).

Look Blue Star, I get it - you like the guy. But truth be told, he's this team's version of Troy Hambrick. What I'm upset about is we might have gotten something for him and didn't. then again, never in a million years did i ever expect he'd be worth anytihng to get. So I'm not crushed we got nothing for him. Fumbling him off the team is reward enough to ensure he no longer fumbles in a Cowboy unifirm.

you act like they are a couple of newborns still sucking on mommas juice. They both can play ball and both can play much better than Choice.

Although I would of like to see 7th rounder pick for Choice, but it was best for the team either way nopw that he is gone.

Bad memories of Chris Gronkowksi, a missed block and Romo out for the season.

The people that think Choice won't be back in the NFL quickly are delusional.

I just hate that it didn't work out. I was happy when we drafted Choice because I thought he showed better between-the-tackles vision than a lot of the top running backs in that draft, including Felix Jones.

And he displayed that in his rookie season, using his blockers well to pick his way for yardage. He also showed an enthusiasm/exuberance for playing that I think has diminished with his role on this team.

With the emergence of Murray and Tanner, I definitely think it was time for him to go, but I do think he'll go on to play a decent role elsewhere, esp. if he's given enough carries to establish a rhythm.

I couldn't have said it any better if I tried.

In the last two years when he has had opportunities he has lost us games.

a 3rd string running back cant fumble the ball 3x....

a veteran can't run out of bounds there, that could have lost us the game.

We throttled the Patriots, and one drive made a difference... Choice's fumble was a difference maker.

He did it again against the rams, and the game was NOT over when it happened.

You can keep whining all you want.. he hasn't LOST us any games. A fumble in the first quarter isn't the reason you lose a game.

You're entire argument against the guy is silliness at its finest. There are rational arguments to be made as to why he shouldn't be here anymore, yours is not in that category however.

People tend to be praised or hated for what they do most recently. Let's face it... 2008 and 2009 were his best years and his production has decreased each of the following years. I don't think he cost us those games, but it certainly didn't help his value here at Dallas. I have nothing against him, but his days were numbered and Murray and Tanner are on the rise.

This one, for example. I completely agree with this and there's nothing exaggerated about it.

Yeah his signature moment happened in 2008, a long time ago in football time. That brings up a question when was Felix's signature moment or if his career ended today what will he be remembered for?

Are we talking about the same guy? The one who's fumbled 3 times in 4 seasons?

Yet here we are, going into an Eagles game in Philly with two running backs on the active roster, by the name of Murray and Tanner.

and two kickers.

choice just ceased being productive. fumbles were never his problem. he just had juliusitis after a while. no hole finding ability.
