birdwells1;4209349 said:This is when people take it too far. I'll let you in on a little secret, you don't really know how the players are as human beings so who are you to judge?
Here's another secret, we as fans take losses harder than do the players. Why? Because we have been fans of teams for 10,20,30+ years and the players have only their contracts that bind them and that's what they're playing for.
If one of our star players gets traded then the next team will be his favorite team you know the one that cuts the check.
How many time have you been pissed after a close loss only to see the players chatting it up after the game like the are at a company picnic?
I said all of that to say this "don't get so involved in this game to where you are saying someone that you don't even know 'sucks as a human' because it ain't even that serious".

Good luck to him unless he signs with one of our rivals.

+ Carter - Choice
You get rid of a player who was constantly and consistently COSTING us games, and his production was just garbage. Finally we have a situation where if we run the ball it's not a waste of a play.

Kilyin;4208701 said:I agree, but I still think you have to cut a kicker that can't make field goals with any consistency when you have another one that can, before you kick a running back that can at least pick up a blitz. Cut the kicker and take whatever you can get for Choice, or keep him for insurance. That would have been the right move.

Galian Beast;4209437 said:Not sure how that is exaggerated...
He barely gets carries yet at least 2 of his fumbles have put us in positions to lose games, and his running out of bounds nearly cost us a game.
He cost us a huge game in New England
2 fumbles this year on 28 carries...
1 fumble in 5 carries against the Commanders last year.
Running out of bounds against the Commanders, almost cost us the game.
He doesn't fumble against the Patriots, and we win the game, this defense is praised as elite, and Romo is elevated to higher ranks. Instead we have to keep hearing what a %$%^# team this is...
That is too many mistakes from a guy with limited participation...
RoyTheHammer;4209444 said:Guy has fumbled 3 times in his entire career here. We won the game where he made a mistake and ran out of bounds, and his fumble against NE was in the first quarter.
How is it a gross exaggeration?
Simply put.. he's not constantly and consistently costing us games.
Also, saying if he doesn't fumble in the first quarter against NE, we win the game.. is another silly exaggeration.
