He ran hard and with an attitude he has good vision and I think he has a very strong shot at this team after last night . I agree with you, people see Amendola and are ready to get the rope, then Choice plays great, and it is only a preseason game against 3rd stringers...wow....

I thought Choice was easily the most impressive RB last night. Felix gets talked about a lot for a couple plays that were basically about speed, but Choice looked like a better more complete back to me. I think he's a keeper.

Most important thing is the vision and speed into the hole - something you can show whether its 3rd string or all-pro, thats what looked so good from Choice. Impressive but again its only preseason so no anointing here

Man he ran with authority and knew where he wanted to go with the ball, that's all you want out of him, so what if he was playing against the 2nd or 3rd string players, that just means he's better than they are. If the guy couldn't find the holes then there would be complaints about him not bursting through for some nice gains.

If Choice keeps this up I can honestly say I will not be as worried about Barber's suicidal running style.

choice looked good, able to push the pile. then the vision to work through the trash. looked like a quality nfl back. if he has to step in there will be no slow down.

felix though showed off his moves and speed. he's one of those guys with deceptive speed and very efficient moves. just makes it look effortless. felix just has great vision to make it feel like he's running wide open.


i was one of the mendenhall backers, but i'm happy with jones now. mendenhall didn't run with the power/drive i expected, MB3 like.


this year, there be no yardage left on the field. all 3 will be able to maximize the holes the oline creates, which will produce a more consistent offense.

I can't say that I agree with you on the more complete back thing. The Cat was making his blocks every time while picking up blitzes.

Choice let a linebacker around the left end that almost got to the QB (Bartel ran away from the pressure and threw it away...good play on his part). Choice was squared up on the guy and just let him get around him. Until he starts making those blocks you can't honestly call him a more complete back.

BTW Felix had some really good moves out there. His moves are quicker and therefore harder to see but it was about a lot more than just speed.

Still in all I was impressed with Choice and I agree wholeheartedly that he is indeed a keeper.
