Why? because he was drafted?

I don't quite get the lmao's...I expect a lot from him as well. Not because he was drafted but because he had back to back 1300+ yard seasons in college against some pretty tough competition. You don't do that unless you have a little something to bring to the table. For a #3 back I don't see where we could do much better than Choice given his college record and what I saw last night. In fact I think a lot of lesser teams might have him starting.

As far as any of the rest of the argument that he might be better than Felix...I'm not buying that at all. Felix is faster and has quicker moves plus I saw him putting his head down and getting some tough yards last night. I admit that I was not thrilled with Felix when we drafted him; I thought he was all speed. But I am now convinced that I was wrong about him after having looked at more of his college highlights and seeing him play last night.

I can't say that I agree with you on the more complete back thing. The Cat was making his blocks every time while picking up blitzes.

Choice let a linebacker around the left end that almost got to the QB (Bartel ran away from the pressure and threw it away...good play on his part). Choice was squared up on the guy and just let him get around him. Until he starts making those blocks you can't honestly call him a more complete back.

BTW Felix had some really good moves out there. His moves are quicker and therefore harder to see but it was about a lot more than just speed.

Still in all I was impressed with Choice and I agree wholeheartedly that he is indeed a keeper.

You're correct, I misspoke. I meant he is more complete as a runner. Blocking is another story.
