I don't know if he'll do anything significant with the Cowboys but he has ridiculous talent.
he might be the best gadget player in the league. But he's still a gadget player. He'll never be a Desean Jackson clone who can break that barrier between gadget and elite receiver, nor will he ever be a great back.
Nor will he been on another teams roster besides the cowboys. Time for you to buck up and deal with it. Its gonna be a long season for you
A lot more down the field throws in those highlights than I was expecting. His stop-start ability is off the charts, and he sets up blocks and gets lost in the blockers and then explodes out.
that's a dumb and extreme comment, too. He's a better version of say, Tommylee Lewis who the Saints used in that role last year. Other examples exist scattered throughout the league. JD McKissich on Seattle. The Redskins did it with little Aldrick Robinson a few years back.
You reach more than stretch arm strong
He’s Lance Dunbar with better moves and worse hands.
He was so great the Rams were like we have to phase him out of this offense to keep things fair.
He’s more than a gadget players, look for a lot of screens, slip, tunnel, and rocket screens.
Don't believe the hype.....it's a sequel
Expect little and maybe get surprised
when was desean jackson elite
Or were you implying he was middle of the road
LOL. He was infinitely better than Austin on his best day and the best deep threat in the game.
He's like a hall of famer compared to this slop.
I also noticed his awareness. Sets up blocks well and bursts at the right time.
That can't be true, I heard here we wasted our 6th on him. /s
But really though, if he hadn't been drafted as high as he was, nobody here would be complaining. It's like they're mad about the Rams poor drafting skills and taking it out on Austin.
I don't think he's going to be some world beater, but he's gonna make some spectacular plays this year from WR, RB, and PR. He is a great value pickup.
Rams traded up and drafted him #9. As long as we don't expect a #1 WR as they did, he should be a nice addition.
use him as he is and dont expect him to be a number 1. simple.
i like this if Sanjay is in on it. Good enough for me.
In Dallas those plays are gadget plays
Austin looks like a legit football player. Maybe the gimmick plays will be more effective, but I hope he advances his skill set and makes the most of his opportunities as a WR. The position is wide open right now, or at least it should be.
