that's a dumb and extreme comment, too. He's a better version of say, Tommylee Lewis who the Saints used in that role last year. Other examples exist scattered throughout the league. JD McKissich on Seattle. The Commanders did it with little Aldrick Robinson a few years back.

I also noticed his awareness. Sets up blocks well and bursts at the right time.

But really though, if he hadn't been drafted as high as he was, nobody here would be complaining. It's like they're mad about the Rams poor drafting skills and taking it out on Austin.

I don't think he's going to be some world beater, but he's gonna make some spectacular plays this year from WR, RB, and PR. He is a great value pickup.

Rams traded up and drafted him #9. As long as we don't expect a #1 WR as they did, he should be a nice addition.

Austin looks like a legit football player. Maybe the gimmick plays will be more effective, but I hope he advances his skill set and makes the most of his opportunities as a WR. The position is wide open right now, or at least it should be.
