Coaching in regards to fumbles is tricky.

Some coaches don't want the player to think about fumbling because of how it can get in their heads.

Other coaches have them carry a ball everywhere, use the bands on the ball and have them run through players lined up on both sides trying to dislodge the ball.

I really think he was just drafted too high. With the particular skillset that he has the expectations of being the 8th pick were never going to be met. That doesn't mean he can't excel at what he specializes at.

Couldn't agree more. I loved him coming out of college but he should have been a late 1st/early 2nd round pick that was plugged into a specialty role. Drafting him top ten put too much pressure on the player and on coaches to feature him.

This is a perfect example on how to work the roster. Getting Austin, a former 1st rounder, for a 6th is robbery.

He is in a role that looks like it could get scrapped pretty quickly if he drops the ball. If he understands that he should be ok. He is valued as a 6th round pick at this point in time.
