On an added note, she must have quite a lot of fans in the DFW area. She's doing three nights at Jerry World.

Both can up and vanish like a fart in the wind for all i care.
thats chump change anymoreI think she appeals to young girls mostly.
I think she's worth about $400M.
I'm shocked that Ticketmaster wasn't better prepared than this. She hasn't toured in over 4 years. They should have realized that having just 1M tickets available wasn't going to cut it.
But the smokingest gun is this: An entire block of seats was reserved for Bieber’s tour, and some of those tickets are currently available on resale site TicketsNow for $216 each.
The last concert I went to I paid 163… that will the last I ever go to…EVER. The music industry is just shady…
I'll still go to local venues that hear local talent, but I can't justify paying for what is likely a lesser quality version than I can download from the internet.
I really wanted to go to Bill Burr a couple of weeks ago but the cheapest tickets were like $90. I paid like $40 to see Carlin around 2000. I paid $35 to see Dave Attell in a smaller venue in 2012 or abouts.
TicketMaster has basically ruined live events.
Yes they have, back in the *day* you used to have local or regional brokers or ticket agencies. When tickets went on sale you went and got a place in line, sometimes by camping out and waiting several hours to purchase tickets. No fees or any other kind of nonsense added either. First time i saw Van Halen in 1979 the ticket was 6.50. I hate Ticketmaster with a passion.
