I hate to try and play doctor on a message board, but it seems clear that Schultz isnt anywhere close to 100%. If I were the Cowboys i'd put him on the IR, roll with the rookies and reevaluate Schultz after the bye week.

WR lets see how these next few weeks pan out. I wouldn't be surprised at all to see an impactful receiver hit the trade block. This feels like a very non Cowboys type of move, but i've heard (from unreliable twitter people) DHop's name being thrown around as one to watch. Lots of bad teams with quality WRs...DJ Moore, Brandin Cooks, Dionte Johnson (Did Pitt recently sign him to an extension?).

you mean letting go of a top 10 WR for a fifth round pick and then not using the money saved was a BAD move!?!? What!?! I’ve read tons of posts about how much better we are for ditching Amari and saving Jerry’s money.
I assume that you are referring to Amari Cooper. He is not a top 10 receiver at this point in his career. He also disappears in games a lot.

That ship has sailed. I realize that reasonable minds can differ, but I don’t lament moving on from him at all.
