CFZ TE Luke Schoonmaker vs Jake Ferguson

I have no idea if the draft pick will be good but I don’t understand the hype around Jake Ferguson. It must the one play he hurdled over a tackler. Otherwise he looked like a very limited player. Cowboys (and every other team)are looking for a TE can run routes downfield. Plus I’m sure there will be a lot of two TE sets.

Hopefully Luke Schoon can juke and shake away from coverages as masterful as Witten did ....

One thing I will say about his RAC is Kincaid and Musgrave were not any better in that department.

LaPorta was head and shoulders the best in the TE class at run after catch.

Reportedly LaPorta was their TE target in the 2nd rd in their slot area,. but there was this run on TEs that saw LaPorta go earlier in the round.

Mark Andrews was 1st team All Pro in 2021 and has been to more than 1 Pro Bowl in his 5 year career...

Goedert in his 5 year career has not been to a Pro Bowl and never voted All Pro...
