This is the second game straight where the coach, QB etc blamed refs. Dak told reporters “kudos to them” when he found out the fans threw debris at refs. McCarthy whined about “letting them play.” Sorry but this is what happens when a team has no backbone and sn owner allows excuses. It’s trash. Refs aren’t making your guys jump offsides or put hands to the face or have false starts. Trash attitude

Jerry pointing fingers at the people he hired/paid. Head coach and QB pointing fingers at the refs.

This organization has become so soft, and it starts at the top.

They're extravagant, have the best facilities, do HBO series, have the most games on national TV, and crap the bed in big games. How 'bout THESE Cowboys?

I agree. As much as I criticize the refs. Because the refereeing in the league is definitely sub par and downright awful at times.

we are fans. It doesn’t matter if we piss and moan about the refs.

They have to be accountable and stop blaming others for them losing. It’s counterproductive.

They made a bunch of boneheaded penalties today that were totally inexcusable and were a big factor in losing.

Always someone else’s fault. Quit jumping your fat rear offsides and stop blatantly holding guys and blocking guys in the back in front of the refs and stop scrambling up the center of the field with a dwindling clock while expecting the refs to bail you out of your own incompetence.

Basically, own your own suckage.

Jerry and the Joneses are all about brand at the expense of winning not realizing that if you win, that builds the brand automatically

No excuses. Team did not come with enough intensity, Dak seeing ghosts & Pollard terribly under utilized. But if you believe that game was called evenly on both sides of the ball, you would be mistaken .. particularly early and involving “holding.”

Teams that get lots of penalties are getting beat physically.

In 26 years Jerry has never figured out that it's not how great our stars are that determine how far we go, but how bad our worst players are. We always have holes -- our backups are never good enough to fill in when players are out for injuries, substance abuse, or behavior, and we have holes in spots because we have too much money invested in high-profile players.

Jerry continues to believe that he is doing a good job getting players and blames coaching instead of reevaluating his entire philosophy on how to build a team.

gaming the refs is part of all sports though. you guys are to obsessed with optics.

The officials clearly missed some things, like the obvious facemask on Zeke's 3rd and 1 run but most of the penalties that hurt them the most were legit.

CW was a big reason why the offense struggled and both his penalties cost them big plays.

yes!

mccarthy HAVE to go after this ref escuse

why??? u ask???

MIKE MCCARTHY is the one who allow it to happen! he are the one in control of the team and the coaching. teach them not to do it teach them it is not acceptible to do it over and over and over every single game! that is ur job!

boo this man!!!!! and every other player or coach who say a word about a ref...give me a break!!!

The refs will never help us out or give us benefit of doubt like they do some teams. In order to even get to a Super Bowl again we are going to need to have clearly a dominate/best team in the NFL. Currently we are very very far from that. It may never happen again.

14 penalties is crazy and shouldn't happen. But it has happened way too much this season. Sure there was some ticky tack stuff, but coaches had all season to clean it up. You have the stats on what refs call and when it's the same players getting called for the same stuff you wonder if they're actually getting coached.

Bottom line you can't put yourself in those situations where you're relying on refs not to mess up the game. We had no business being in this game at the end, and we were a stupid QB sneak away from having 2 legit chances to win the game.

This along with my OP. Just own it. You come out flat and getting your tail beat you can’t then depend on refs

Lost in the discussions is the fact that the cowboys got beat in the trenches on both sides of the ball today.

hard to win when that happens.
